Anyone else have a snow day today :smug:
Am i a shit head because i ask everyone with an suv if its the "Blackops Edition jeep" [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] My dad got a new leaf added to his truck, it feels so different to ride in now, bounces alot less. That fiero guy is fucking mackin on the mazda guys bitch
Why would you ask them that if it's not a Jeep. I don't think they added anything important to the "Black Ops" edition but they charge 7 grand more.
Anyone else have a snow day today :smug:
I did. Also top gear made me want a ford raptor. [img_thumb]http://photos.webridestv.com/datastore/images/user/f555a19ea1104d5f6b39c2308b120232/Ford_Raptor_R_Concept_153614_20081104.jpg[/img_thumb]
What would be a good daily driver car that is under 1975 (year) I was thinking of a '74 charger or dart but I'm wondering if you know anything. Don't try and argue that old cars are shit blah blah. I've made up my mind and this is what I want, I'm not getting anything elce.
Anything really. I DD'd my '67 Chevy pickup for a while, but it has a lot of modern conveniences I put on it. (Mainly Fuel Injection so it gets decent mileage and isn't a bitch to start)
yeeeeeeah no many people believe that but it isn't true it just use very very little fuel so it doesn't stall
It doesn't stall because it's connected to the wheels, which are spinning.
So, for best milage, you should spot a red light far ahead, and shift down through the gears so that the engine brakes your car? That's what I've begun doing atleast, when there's no one behind me so I don't piss them off by going slow. Drive 5th untill i drop to 1000rpm, then do the same with 4th and so on. Is that how I'm supposed to do it?
Loved seeing your parents cars
Loved seeing your parents cars
this thread aint big enough for the two of us. :clint:
yeeeeeeah no many people believe that but it isn't true it just use very very little fuel so it doesn't stall
it doesn't if you are decelerating the revs are dropping, once it hits 1k that doesn't really count as decelerating anymore, at that point its trying to hold an idle
Here's a gas saving tip that actually works: Keep your tires a few PSI over what's recommended for your car. Underinflated tires hurt your gas mileage, A LOT. My tires lost air over time (went to 3-4psi under recommended) and when I put them 3-4psi over recommended, I gained around 5mpg.
this is what I do too. the recommended pressure for all four of my tires is 30, so I usually inflate them to 34-36.
It doesn't stall because it's connected to the wheels, which are spinning. [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/623593/Fuelflow.jpg[/img_thumb]
then my driving instructor was wrong lole he kept asking me driving economy questions and giving me tips for economic driving
here's a pic of my car: please add it to the OP I try to keep it really clean. what do you guys think?
Anyone else have a snow day today :smug:
We're probably going to get one tomorrow. I'm also getting the Volvo registered tomorrow (all the title issues got sorted out today). Coincidence? I think not.
ugh, the reflections of the trees, etc. are annoying. maybe I'll take a better picture eventually.
Still looks nice. Does Florida mandate front license plates?
Still looks nice. Does Florida mandate front license plates?
no, florida laws allow only one license plate in the rear.
Shitty blurry-ass picture of the Varvo. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/AZS0Vh.jpg[/img_thumb]
Speaking of adding pics to the OP, can you add this one, FordLord?

is that green car in the background smashed up or is it shadows that make it look like it is?
is that green car in the background smashed up or is it shadows that make it look like it is?
it's smashed up. it's our car as well. my stepbrother got hit in a parking lot by some old lady that was going the wrong way. it's a 1999 hyundai accent. the only bad thing about it is it looks terrible. other than that it's good on gas and is reliable.
some old lady was going the wrong way.
every damn time
lol look at the first pic that I posted. my neighbor across the street ran over his mailbox like a week ago, and he still hasn't fixed it.
lol look at the other houses window theres a guy jacking off.
should I repaint my wiper blade or just buy a new one?

It's also good to extend the life of your brakes since you don't ride them to every stop light, but consequently, it'll wear down your clutch and syncros a bit faster if you don't double clutch and rev match. It may be negligible though, since you're slowing down there won't be much load on the clutch/syncros.
should I repaint my wiper blade or just buy a new one?
I repainted mine on my old Talon and they looked brand new. They started rusting again after about a year however, but I only used one or two coats of paint.
clean your housing lol it looks dirty on the inside
Thats just how it looks in front of a fluted lens I guess. Did it with the halogens and you can't really dirty the inside of a housing
Two pictures of an attempted photo shoot me and my friends did for our cars. Washed and fully detailed with Meguiar's waxing products. We even clay barred them. I tried but couldn't get the aperature, shutter speed, and F-stop right. So I gave up. I guess they turned out ok. Anyways here are 2 of them: [IMG_thumb]http://i53.tinypic.com/2cfpogi.jpg[/IMG_thumb] [IMG_thumb]http://i52.tinypic.com/2uy0eq9.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
