there are more dented/broken body panels on my car than not dented/broken
i can't find anywhere that sells replacements so i'll probably end up going to a salvage yard and finding some when i'm done with the camaro
HubCaps are ugly as sin.
it's not worth paying $450 for steel wheels/rims on a car that's worth ~$4,500
HubCaps are ugly as sin.
Hate hub caps, I want car manufacturers to just use real rims.
Did you two even read my posts?
you agreed with this:
So, for best milage, you should spot a red light far ahead, and shift down through the gears so that the engine brakes your car?
I think I'll get some new anti-sway bars to tighten up the cornering a bit.
does anyone use custom air filters? are they worth it?
kn panel
does anyone use custom air filters? are they worth it?
Define "custom"
Define "custom"
K&N air filter
Define "custom"
take a bunch of tissue paper and glue it together to form an air filter
Not sure if this has been posted before and its probably a bit off-topic but Australia has some awesome police cars, we used to use a few WRX's

But now we use Ford Falcon XR6 (Sometimes turbo's) and Holden Commodore SS. you foreigners might not recognize them cause I think their only available in Oz although I think the commodore might be in America under chevy.
Falcon

Ya thats fair enough, I don't blame the owner I blame the Manufacturer. Unless the Owner puts Ugly chrome or Spinner Hub-caps, Then its the Owners fault.
I don't mind alot of the newer cars, they are using Spoked Steel Rims, and the hubcaps cover the spokes, so they look like real alloy wheels.

Dude, go to junkyards, look around on used item sites, I found rims identical to mine (3 from private sale, 1 from a lucky incident at the junkyard) all in total for 100 bucks, good conditio
using them for the winter tires and the ones I had before for summer so all I have to do is just change the wheels when it`s time

(i think there was one in this thread)
. . . is retarded.
I think it's funny. ""Hey everybody, I suck at driving, see, I have a "New Driver" decal on my car!""
So? You'd rather a sticker for "Hey, I'm a better driver than you and I also have a huge ego. I'm a douche."
So? You'd rather a sticker for "Hey, I'm a better driver than you and I also have a huge ego. I'm a douche."
I'd rather no sticker.

Maybe in a different colour.

should I do this or keep my fogs
Looks less ricer than if you had the fogs so yes keep them.
For my car I need to fix an annoying tick noise on decel, fix an annoying knock at low RPM once my engine has turned on. As well as an aftermarket exhaust and STI suspension. Dealer should cover the first two.
Looks less ricer than if you had the fogs so yes keep them.
It doesn't look any more or less ricer. I like the look of the fogs though

The subtitle to this thread is "AMURICAN MUSCLE" but I hope I am still allowed to post about my SUbaru.
My Subaru Impreza from 1998 (or so) is a nice car. Its stereo is broken (stuck on one radio station, have to fight the volume knob to change the volume (when I'm listening to a CD, because I do not like the one radio station on which it is stuck)) but the rest of it is OK, except for one of the hub caps which fell off in Missouri somewhere and the passenger-side mirror which is being held on by pink duct-tape. My favorite thing about my Subaru Impreza ~'98 is that I can fold down its back seats and fit my bike in its rear. I like to ride my bike more than I like to ride my Subaru Impreza ~'98, so every time I stick my bike in my car it's sort of like I'm raping the Subaru Impreza ~'98 - at least a little bit.
Did you guys know that "Volvo", in Latin, means "to roll along" or something along those lines? I thought that was pretty interesting.
