it's basically a fucking brand new mach 1 for like half what they retailed.
I REALLY wish i had $19k right now.

310 Horsepower out of a V8...
How is that even possible? My dads TL gets 305 out of a 3.7l V6, it has four wheel drive, and comfortable seats five.

Dude, it's probably been beat to hell.

Look at the sticker on the guy's mirror. I don't think the owner is the kind of guy who would have been maintaining it well, either, judging by the Pep Boys taillight covers.

Also, I think the mileage might be closer to 130,000. Look at the odo in this pic:

that sticker is awesome
that sticker is awesome
Yeah, but it also doesn't suggest that the owner had much regard for prolonging the life of his car.

oooh.
I'd still get a Carfax to make sure the odo hadn't been rolled back or something. 13,000 miles on an 04 with a mild amount of customization is kinda sketchy.
Well if it is any reference my friends Mach 1 was $9k Canadian, 120k km and a full Borla exhaust. No oil change stickers though but he said he did it himself and gave my friend the mechanics manual, magazines etcetera. Interior was in good condition.

Ya but how much torque? It is also underatted a little and it is old technology (Although it is 4 valve DOHC) like some of the other American V8s on the market right now (Northstar, Hemi, LS7, OHV pushrod but reliable and cheap). It is a pretty good jump from the 265 HP GT. I don't even think the new 5.0L Ford is completely modern.

As I see it, when it comes to a car that seems too good to be true, it's never a bad idea to get a history report.
Whoa, guess not.

my aunts friend had 60,000 miles when she went into a auto shop, they had to replace her speedometer shit, and replaced the odometer too.
with one with 15,000 miles on it
derp- not digital :v:
that mach 1 looks shitty, when I was debating getting the wagon or the mach 1 the mach 1 had like 70k for 14,000$
New exhaust ordered, wanted to stick to the OEM twin tip design but 2.5" piping throughout and de-catted, found a vid of a Lude with the same exhaust on. Sounds nice but... Chicken fried rice!

Should hopefully be here and on by the weekend.
you'll never have to replace it
yeah but look how much it costs compared to a normal one, oh and you still have to buy the oil shit for it

No, not double tip :frown:
Ludes came with a double tip as stock I'm keeping it that way. Suites the car better anyways, a dustbin hanging off the bumper wouldn't suit it.

"new driver" means "inexperienced driver"

I've already been driving for going on 2 years...(and had my license for even longer than that) yet some would still argue that i was a new driver and inexperienced, even if it is extremely false. It's just your typical stereotype, "kids under 20 can't drive for shit, prepare to die lol"
Generalization...
I drive a truck and i drive WAY better than everyone at my school that drives cars...Everyone at my school has has had accidents, and everyone has totaled at LEAST one car...I've never even gotten a dent offroading, let alone rear ending someone on the street...
Japan. That's why people put them on their cars. If they were from uraguay or some shit I bet noone would have them on their car.
"I am way better than everyone in my school and every single person in my school has totalled their car"
He's not even trying to say it like that... and it's true though. A lot of kids I know have either been in a wreck already or made some dumbass mistakes.
Example: (Also my favorite) Hitting the mailbox and putting the car into a ditch... all while trying to back out of a driveway.
"I am way better than everyone in my school and every single person in my school has totalled their car"
Everyone at my school is either actually in a gang, or wants to be in a gang. Mentally, i believe that I am better than all the students at my school.

What if you are an experienced driver even though you just got your driving license

Another bad generalization, lol. I guarantee you, in your school, there is at LEAST one person who is smarter than you, does not want to be in a gang, and better at driving than you.
Spent some time photoshopping what my car will look like when I'm (visually) done. I know the headlights look absolutely gay, but I had a hard time replicating these headlights that I bought (click me)
Anyways here it is before and after.

bro i posted that video a long time ago
That looks pretty good.
Unrelated note...
Some of the stuff you guys get to work on and do makes me somewhat disappointed.
I got a truck that is a old work horse, nothing special. It has plenty of potential, but I really don't have a whole lot of mechanical know-how and money to do anything special. I know the basics, IE change my own oil, filters, spark plugs, etc.
Only thing I've done so far is add new driving lights to the bottom, changed my headlights because they where fogged and broken, got a new stereo installed.
I got a 2001 F150 V8. I would like to figure out a relatively inexpensive way to get more horses out of it.
