because rwd is always better then ricer fwd despite the fact that the gen coupes open deck motor is worthless while the gti makes like 300wtq with just a stage1 tune
go for the golf. its german.
Just picked up the XC70 from getting inspected. On the way back, my friend and I took turns snow drifting it on a soccer field. Fun shit.
I'm American and i drive an automatic; But there is a reason why. I wanted an older truck, like mine, and when you are looking for something as rare as mine, you can't just go up and say "Is it manual? No? Not interested." Because you will never find one, to be honest...Mine used to be manual, before the mexican that owned it converted it to automatic, and it's too expensive to convert it back to manual...However, my dad had a 72 CJ-5 Jeep that was manual, and i learned how to drive it in about 2 hours...Americans are stupid? Everyone i have talked to, American or not, say it took them weeks to learn it...I picked up on it instantly, learned how in a couple hours, perfected it in a day...But then he sold it. But like i said, you start getting choosy and you won't get exactly what you want, i wanted this truck, there are no others like it for thousands of miles around unless you go to a junkyard, you can't just say i want a manual instead... I would love to own a manual, but I'm not so interested that I'm going to forking out thousands of dollars to convert my tranny and whatnot over to manual
i am just happy with what my parents bought me, if i had my choice i would be driving manual, but i dont so thats life right now
You perfected it in a day? That's pretty impressive. I stalled and stalled and stalled a little bit more all through my driving lessons which were like 10 hours in total. But perhaps the instructor on the passenger seat is what keeps you nervous enough to have a trembling leg.
because rwd is always better then ricer fwd despite the fact that the gen coupes open deck motor is worthless while the gti makes like 300wtq with just a stage1 tune
if he got the genesis then he would get the 2.0 turbocharged one, not the 3.8 problem is, that there aren't many to choose from, and I don't know if he wants to pay $25,000 the scion tc looks like it's the best value. you can get a brand new 2011 for around $19,000, and it comes with a sunroof, etc.
we were in a 4 door sedan, but what the fuck? camber has nothing to do with transmission...
I wasn't talking about the transmission anymore. I was talking about when people lower their cars, and change the camber. It looks like a dog with broken legs.
What does the average driver's test consist of over there? I've heard some people on here saying they literally drove round the block, a couple of turns, parked up and that was it. That can't be the case though.
There is a written portion and then there is the in car portion where you drive around for 30 minutes, uphill and downhill park, parallel park, merge, stop signs, yields, uncontrolled interesections, etc. Passed all my tests on my first try, even my advanced driver`s license where it allows me to have 2 beers and legally drive v:v:v

Talk about trembling leg from being so nervous. I thought he could see my legs and hand spazzing out. That was only the second time I drove a stick, did alright, only stalled it out once when I tried to take off too slow while trying to look around a corner :(
My instructor just about smashed his glasses against the dash because i had the trembling leg so bad my foot went right ahead and slipped off of the clutch. Fun times :-)

I had already been driving for a month or so when i finally went in to get my liscense so i wasn't too nervous, we took a 20 question test and then they had us drive around town for about 10 minutes, just really basic stuff like lane changing, some turns, stop signs...No parking or anything so that's cool. Instructor was a fucking asshole though, had a pissy attitude and marked me down for every little tiny unnoticeable thing i did...Still got around a 90% though.
Oh, yeah. I got my license six months early too. The retards never bothered to check my age before letting me take all the tests and such.

For example most people spent weeks learning how to drive a forklift. It took me 3 hours to get the hang of it, the next day I became a licensed heavy machinery operator. Before anyone says forklifts are hard to drive - they are and can be a major pain in the ass if you don't know what you're doing. I've seen people crash these things left and right simply because they can't handle using controls and watching pallets being dropped or being put up and watching for people around them. I've seen someone crash in to a wall and destroy the whole thing. I've seen people drop entire pallets and destroy thousands of dollars worth of product. Like I said it all depends on the person. As for me, If i had a manual or someone who owned a car with a manual I would learn. But in till then I will continue to drive a automatic, not because I'm lazy or stupid. But because it is what came with my truck. Hate the whole generalization between manual and auto.

Long and boring vid of me driving around pretending I'm a street racer with my manual transmission. Enjoy if you wish.

Sort of funny how there's all theese americans who want to drive manual, and then there's us europeans who've never really sat in an automatic that wasen't a huge merc taxi and mikel, i think you should give your 5th gear a little more love :(
When you live your life a quarter mile at a time, there's no time for 5th gear.
I made a "presentational video" of my car. Check from 1:00 (random assing around untill one minute into the vid) http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=483045539034&saved#!/video/video.php?v=483045539034&notif_t=video_processed

the lower parts of my car always get dirty when it rains and since my car is white, it looks pretty bad so the day after it rained, I washed my car and haven't drove it since :smug:

would it be possible to mount a digital camera on the dashboard to where it would have a good view? I could buy a mount as long as it's not ridiculously expensive
wedge it in between your passenger headrest
