fucking pageking, it keeps happening bro
High school is coming up for me and I'm yet to find a suitable vehicle. All year I have been looking, there was that fucking sick deal on the 1967 coronet, same for a 68 satellite, and some others I can't quite remember. When I get to finally start driving to work/school and everything I want something that I would want to drive. Everyone is for safety and fuel efficiency, while I couldent care less about either, well exept safety, but a good old rollcage will solve that. One of the main reasons I search for all these old cars is that they are the only form of vehicle I am familiar with.
I have been around a whole lot of them, seen thousands of pictures and videos and therefor I am tuned with them. My cousin recently got a 2007 ford edge for a DD and he hates the thing. He says that when he got it he had high hopes for tooling around with it, adding and fixing things here and there but the car is so forign to him that if he were to do anything to it it would fuck up something involving all the wires running through the car.
I dont know, I've kind of run out of material by now. Point being, while old cars are impractical to our modern life, they are the only thing I can accept when it comes to automotive, thus why old cars/trucks for me>any other kind of land vehicle.
Thought I would try and spark up a little conversation, and thoughts on the topic a hand?
Anyways found this, http://alberta.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-1975-Plymouth-Duster-Coupe-W0QQAdIdZ235711497
Just don't like the bench seat and the vinyl roof.

Not really, you'd still bang your head on the hood of the car if you were involved in a side impact crash, it probably only has lap seat belts, and you aren't wearing a racing helmet all the time.
The roll cage will only help you in one aspect, which is rolling.

Big +1.
Not to mention you can also hit your head on the roll cage, which is enough to cause a concussion even with padding. And roll cages aren't cheap either.

Take a look at some older model European cars, reliable, stylish and without all the electrics.

Alot of people put some sort of spongy wrap around their rollcages.
My sisters husband just purchased her a brand new Kia Soul with all the trimmings. She gave us her 04 Lancer, now my brother is possibly driving it down on Friday. This is good news for us since we've been without a car for going on four years since my mom wrecked, and Geico didn't pay at all.
It is the base model, but has all that we need which is Automatic, Air Conditioner (Florida), Power everything, ABS, and a generous amount of airbags.

That's great to hear. I know how much you have been struggling without a car, so hopefully this will really help you out.

"which is enough to cause a concussion even with padding."
Basically take a metal bar. Have someone hold it. Then have them beat you across the head as hard as they can. That would hurt, right? Now put some spongy stuff on it. Have them beat you in the head as hard as they can again. It would still hurt.

depends if it's a 2 cm layer or 20 cm layer of spongy stuff
and with 20 cm layer it'll probably bounce back and knock you out aswell :buddy:

Some say, he hits himself on the head with a rollcage bar just for the fun of it, and that he buys old bad rusted, unsafe cars because "he knows them better". All we know is, he's called the Sti- Valon Kyre
