The point of my post was there was no reason to call him a retard just because he voiced his opinion on exhaust sounds. Just like its okay for you to voice YOUR opinion, but it doesn't give me a right to say i think you are a fucking idiot just because you don't like the same type of vehicles as i do.
It has nothing to do with exhaust sounds, just because a car has an exhaust can doesn't mean it will sound annoying. It's the profiling of all cars on one stupid thing which brings out the retard comment. You don't call me a retard, you just rate me boxes which pretty much the same.
what am i looking at
The first race scene from the first Fast And The Furious movie.
Noob question here: Gave friend ride, he left door open but I didn't notice interior light on when I closed mine, or one of the doors managed to unhinge while I was inside. Car wouldn't start, got a jump. Turned it off when I got home, tried starting car again to be sure it works, wouldn't start. Is my battery completely drained?
Indeed it is. If you got home and the alternator didn't charge it at all then it might just be an old battery. Check the date on it.

However, I recently went to install a new Car Deck so I had to take off the negative terminal, in a rush I haven't screwed it on tight so I'll tighten it in the morning and give it another try. Also: Anyone know where to order Wiring Harnesses that plug INTO the car deck? The black rectangular piece that goes directly into the deck? No stores here offer them and they said I have to order from the manufacturer (Stereo is JVC KD-6300, Car is 1990 Mazda 323 HB)
you probably didn't let the alternator charge the battery enough. get another jump and let your car run for 15-20 minutes.
Alright. Know anywhere I can get a Wiring Harness though? Driving without a stereo sucks but I can't install the new one without a wiring harness.
sorry, i don't. ): [editline]9th January 2011[/editline] in other news i came to the realization that cruise control and snow is the worst combination ever
Why would you ever cruise control in the snow? The conditions aren't steady enough to warrant using it.
i figured 25 was slow enough but then it didn't let off the gas until i tapped the brake, and by that point i was sideways. didn't hit anything/anyone though. lesson learned. [editline]9th January 2011[/editline] i think this was in the lmao threads, neighbor sent it to me.
Alright. Know anywhere I can get a Wiring Harness though? As long as the new one came with a connector at least.
If you're willing to do a little electrical work you can install one without buying a harness. I have the old wiring harness installed atm that connects into my old deck, but it has larger pins. I don't really feel like doing electrical work.

103 in a 65 during the stop my battery dies and the cop fucking tries to jump start my car by ramming into me and flooring my shit up to like 25mph, he fucked up all the paint on my rear bumper fuck you
i like it, not keen on the wheels though. what kind of power do they make? [editline]8th January 2011[/editline] fucking hell supras are expensive in the usa lol
A whopping 200hp. Easy to make power with though. 252hp with just a chip and 280 with an exhaust + chip.
The 2.0 was used in SO many cars though. Aftermarket for it is going to be huge, and parts will be cheap in the future.

They should look like this or something iirc If you have a newer car, it is probably some brand specific plug format. There are adapters available from pretty much every car to DIN. If your stereo itself doesn't have DIN connector it should have another DIN->radio adapter included. So basically you'll probably need two adapters to connect your stereo.

It somehwat looks like the rectangular one there, it has a clip on the side and a plastic split down the middle though.
Yeah that should be DIN. It's been a while since i've seen one and Google came up with all kinds of connectors so i just assumed it was that one. Your description seems accurate to me though. Your best bet is to just check the interwebs to see what kind of connector your car has.

JVC offers no info on the KD-6300 deck as it's pretty old and I can't really find any data on the Mazda 323 either. Having a sub-par used car sucks (Even when it came out, it was a sub-par car). Also: Why the fuck is the list of "Previous models" on the Mazda website the same as the list of current models? Do they seriously have no information on older Mazdas? FML.
[img_thumb]http://www.atu.de/extern/gfx/artikel/HMA_/HMA00519_L.jpg[/img_thumb] Website i found this on says it's for the 323 from 1989 to 2001.

That end that plugs into the receiver is completely different on my car. Fuck it, I'll go get a picture quick. Edit: Bah, 2:17am and raining out but I went out and got the photos anyways. Sooo, are you looking for the car side or the receiver side plug?? I read over but wasn't totally clear.
