yeah and that means i've only got 215 at the flywheel, what is that, like 170 to the rear wheels? ):
Wouldn't that just be 215BHP then, since BHP is what you get without loss of power from components?
You know your City is full of fucking horribly bad drivers, when its a 3 week wait to get into a Bodyshop for repairs. First place i went said 5 - 7 week wait, 3 weeks was the shortest.
On another note, has anyone ever clayed their car? This stuff. It's supposed to be used to clean all the contaminents and microscopic surface dirt on your paint to leave it smoother than a a shaved velvet pussy with a really good finish, making polishing and waxing easier. I'm tempted to do it but it looks majorly time consuming and want to know if it's worth the effort. Any feedback?
Do it. It makes a hell of a difference. especially on light coloured cars, it pulls off all the road tar and shit that sticks to the bottom of the doors like cement. Should take 1 person about an hour to do a GOOD job.
Same :( What engine is in the Mustang? [editline]27th October 2010[/editline] How easily does it remove said marks?
Pretty easily. It took off Over-spray that sat on my car for 7 months like nothing. My car Litterally Felt/sounded like you were running your hand over 1500 gritt sandpaper even with 4 coats of wax. Now its smoother than a babies ass, its undescribably smoooth. It also takes off most rail dust too, but takes some elbow grease for that stubborn ass shit.
I think these lights look amazing in a Civic: [img_thumb]http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa249/chesh125/009.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa249/chesh125/018-1.jpg[/img_thumb] That civic is actually for sale on the Prelude owner's forum, they've drop the H22 engine into it, 0-60 in about 5 seconds. £2800, absolute bargain!
Holy crap, I might have bought that had it been near me at that price. that's like $4500 USD? I'd strip it out and throw in a cage and some buckets. If I had a honda, I'd have to go all out.
Claying my car made a HUGE fucking difference. It took ALL of the roughness out of the finish. was awesome.
Just remember to knead it as often as fuck, use LOTS of lubricant and don't push TOO hard. Or else your gonna swirl the fuck outta the paint.
What should I do if clearcoat is wearing off on the top of my car? Like a significant amount around the edges of the roof?
What should I do if clearcoat is wearing off on the top of my car? Like a significant amount around the edges of the roof?
Repaint it.
Repaint it.
I was looking for a less-obvious solution, as my car is quite cheap and I don't have the money for an expensive automotive paint job. However, I may be driving the car until June/July.
I wish I had a large garage. I would LOVE to learn to do ALL my car repairs and modifications myself. But I need space for that. :saddowns: My mustang needs some body work and a paint job, all of which I already know how to do, but I dont have the space for it. Sucks man.

However, I may be driving the car until June/July.
Could always do what i did, Paint it your self. Had to repaint my bumper, So I Bought some Automotive Spray-paint (Color AND clear) at local Auto store, and painted it in my bathtub. You couldn't tell unless you studied it closely. All you need to do is the Clear coat, so its even easier. Should be like $20 a can for clear. Tagged Image cuz its huge.
You mean low output? amirite???? L!O!L
well i mean it's high output compared to like ford explorers and stuff that used the same 302.
Managed to score myself a discount on some coilovers today. Can't wait to drop my polo :-)
If i were you i would first consider dropping it, next year when the weather is more clear... They already yell at me "oh jeez here comes the red snow plow"...
well i mean it's high output compared to like ford explorers and stuff that used the same 302.
I've got a sohc 4.0 that puts around 180 to the wheels. Which is horrible for a 5,600lb SUV.
