The roads here in Ohio might as well be made out of salt in the winter. Seriously, they lay so much down it's ridiculous.
This thread is about cars.

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK Transmission fluid! Transmission fluid everywhere! I'm thinking its just a seal or something but damn what a hassle. Going to try to pull the transmission out myself as I really can't afford to throw money at the mechanic. Anyone have any experience with spontaneous transmission leaks? I just ignored it till I sold the car to my friend who messed the transmission up somehow. What a retard!

It's only a few bucks. And if you are leaking a lot, make sure to periodically check your levels so it doesn't drop too low.

It just seems like a lot of fluid and its everywhere under the engine, like it sprayed out or something. It doesn't look like just a little drip. I'll look into getting some stop leak though.

I am thinking of getting a gauge pod. It replaces the stock cubby thing on my dash and hold 3 52mm gauges. I am thinking of getting Oil temp, Oil pressure, and water temp. Its $35 for the pod, and $40 each for the gauges. Does that sound like a good deal? Oh, and I'm also looking at getting a lightweight crank pulley, it weighs 1 lb, stock weighs 5 lbs. It's $54 Scratch that, found a glitch in some site and can get one that weighs 1.2lbs and is supposedly 30% stronger for $30.

You may have even gotten a cracked line somewhere if you have any. Look around and try and find what the hell is going on down there before you drop the tranny, because that's a lot of damn work, and if you pay someone it's expensive as fuck. But yeah try the stop leak as well, at like ~5 bucks a bottle it can't hurt.

It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning.
Maybe I set my expectations too high, but my friend got a nice 1992 Honda Civic LX in Black, automatic, paint job is still pretty mint, and it looks really nice and sporty. However, I cannot find anything that's automatic, under $2500, and doesn't look like a car someone in their 60s would drive. I've checked around http://victoria.en.craigslist.ca, http://victoria.kijiji.ca, and http://www.usedvictoria.com and not really found anything. Any suggestions? P.S: There are some other nice honda civis on there but I don't want to drive the same car as him. That'd just be.... :/ Edit: http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/1995-Nissan-200-SX-SE_R_13264159 doesn't look bad.
I kinda inherited a 1985 Toyota Turbodiesel pickup tonight =D Win. I love turbos so much
still doesn't do 0-60 in 4 seconds
Hey, lemme live my moment of driving a car that has a steering wheel that isn't so hard to turn, or isn't so fat and heavy like the hulk I drive earlier.

Why does he hold the gear stick so hard?
You would too if a Golf was ripping your face off.
Why is a speedsensor for a 1976 truck so hard to find?
