lol fucking deer shouldnt have jumped in front of me. like seriously has anyone ever thought about what deer must be thinking like "hur lets run in front of these lights that are coming 60mph towards us"
It's funny to point your high beams and fogs at them. Last weekend on my neighbors new property we saw some and I sat there for literally ten minutes with my lights pointed at them. None of them moved an inch.
you are gonna fix it right? that truck will look really great with a new bumper and new black stripe thing on the door
Yes eventualy and the black stripe thing got ripped off when the gate of a fence I had to back through was too small.
Yes eventualy and the black stripe thing got ripped off when the gate of a fence I had to back through was too small.
damn... take more care of your truck dude
damn... take more care of your truck dude
It's expected when I work on a farm, a truck is a utility vehicle and not some fancy car that needs waxing. Trucks get beat up because thats what they were designed for, work. Lol but yeah I try keeping it in good shape.
Stupid fucking creatures, aren't they? Coming home from the golf course one day I saw one dart out in front of a Taurus. I laughed so hard as it went head over ass, got up, and ran away.
I stopped worrying about taking care of my truck after i almost fucked up the engine while trying to fix the engine so it wouldn't get fucked up more. Yeah. I won't go into details but until i get the proper knowledge i need from wyotech to do this shit, I'm just going to drive it and whatever happens happens, i can't afford to fuck something else up even more while trying to FIX a part.
How does it feel?
Best car i have driven, ever! It's like laying in bed at 200 mph!
YOU drove it to 200 mph. :smug:
no lol but it felt like it! i think i went only about 90mph.. i got scared...
I am so fucking tired right now I just got back from a rally. Started at 10 am, and I left early at like 5 pm because I couldn't see (really bad night vision) In total, I drove 300 miles. Nearly lost it a few times (All Seasons on glare ice) but had a great time. I did lose it once at a pit stop, I lost traction pulling in and hit some small trees.
Makes me want to build a rally/buggy even more, it sounds like a blast.
It is, would have been a lot funner if I had the right tires At one leg of the race, we were in Indian territory, and it said in the route book: "DO NOT STOP"
Those Indians that feisty up there? What would they do if you did stop. What was the course like overall. Tough?
Those Indians that feisty up there? What would they do if you did stop. What was the course like overall. Tough?
They have been known to scalp some people. The first leg was awesome, perfect roads. Second leg wasn't too bad, had some rough spots. The third leg, sweet jesus, I'm surprised I didn't rip my radiator out I didn't do the last 2 legs, because it was dark, late, and it would have taken me the exact opposite of where I live.
Yea, I've heard of some pretty hardcore tribes that still live that way. It would have been unfortunate if something happened to the car in that part. I think rallying through pitch black trails would have been fun. I'm think it's time for a light bar on the Subi :P
I have always wanted to be in a rally.
I did lose it once at a pit stop, I lost traction pulling in and hit some small trees.
During the race? Or on your way home? Either way, how badly were the trees hurt? :smug:
During the race? Or on your way home? We don't have ANYTHING like that where i live out in new mexico, the closest i can get to experiencing something like that is to watch videos of someone else doing it. You can always mount it someway or another so you don't need to hold it, like some people do when recording themselves driving around town or whatever. Looks fun...

I'd love to see you setup the mount again and get some footage. Unless you have older videos uploaded somewhere?

No talk of what's going on next month. Oh, and my interior mount used the headrests on my seat to mount, which it can't use now because the mount for my seat broke. I will find another way to mount it some time
So I just found this cool thing called an Aerocharger. It's a turbo. A universal Variable vanes turbo :derp: They've also got this turbo to make more power than it is taking in exhaust pressure... //edit: Awww yeah pageking with a variable vane turbo :smug: It also doesn't require oil lines. It is self contained.

Was thinking of this: http://www.amazon.com/Panavise-809-Camera-Window-Suction-Cup/dp/B000246ST6 Being a single cab i've got no room to mount things on headrests and stuff like that, so i was thinking of going with a suction-cup design. From the photos it looks strong enough to hold my dinky little camera just fine.
