I hate how modern musclecars all have chop tops and 24" rims
I love hybrid cars.

It reminds me of EVE in Wall-E.

Those things are 0-60 in roughly 7 seconds. Still wouldn't want one. I do want the interior though.

I just bought my dad a Suzuki SJ 88 because he's been wanting one for a long time :buddy:
and it's right outside atm but I won't take pics of it since it's cold as fuck and dark already
He had an sj before me and my sister were born and he's been wanting one ever since he had to sell it because he needed more seats. So on Sunday he found a cheap sj that was close and told me he finally found one but he didn't have money for it right now so I decided to buy it for him
it does need some work before it's road legal but it was legal enough to drive it home
so dads SJ is the winter project :science:
this is it:

Also removed the green lighting and made it look better..
Did you buy a new dash? Thought you said yours didn't come with a rev counter
Also, Ferosso, I'm normally okay with rims as long as they don't keep spinning when the car stops. I do like when they match the windows though. Like, if you have dark tinted windows, dark rims are kinda nice. Especially those in Shift that have the red ring along the outside of them. Those are fancy.

He replaced the clock a while ago AFAIK
Got my new Subaru logo keychain, must have been nearly an inch of added hoops so it could turn all the way around or some shit.
I took the hoops and crap off and just put the logo onto a regular circular keychain loop thing and it looks awesome.
I also found my original Subaru key to use until my STI key comes in.
Does anyone here have a remote starter? I'm in the market for one, but I can't seem to find any good reviews for one. I don't need anything fancy, just something that will warm up the car for the upcoming winter.
If it helps, my car is an 2000 Sable
Why would you need a remote starter? It takes like 5 seconds to go out, start the car, and turn the heat on.

If you REALLY want to spend 200+ on one I heard Viper makes a good product.
My boss just got one of those oil burners, or whatever it's called. Burns diesel and heats up his car, he can start it by sending a text message. Cost him like 2000$ to get it all home and installed. Seems crazy to me.

I really like it when I'm doing work in class or a test and I can enjoy a nice warm car on the way home. It costed the previous owner $500 installed.

It's amazing when you tend to sleep in the car a lot or live in regions that tend to get a bit colder in winter. I'd love to go out to my car in the winter and find it free of snow/ice and it's all cozy and warm. :3:

Why wouldn't you want a remote start? Useful during the winters and summers. I know Viper makes some good ones, but they're a bit too pricey for me, I mean hell; the car itself was only $2200.
Cars thread, I come to you in a time of need.
I need a job but I don't want to work on cars >:( I enjoy working on cars and if I do it for a living thats out the window.
What do?
I kinda the same way, I like to work on my car but I'm afraid I will hate it if I make it into a career. I'm thinking about going for the IT department and keep working on cars a hobby.
Did you buy a new dash? Thought you said yours didn't come with a rev counter
yeah i bought a spare one a while ago, The only problem now is that my speedometer shows like 40km/h too much, i was like driving 10km/h because of the snow and it showed 50... couldn't really beleive it.. also my batterylamp suddenly failed to light up when i get the ignition on, so i think my generator is dead again... or maybe some wirering again..
Why wouldn't you want a remote start?
It would be useful at times, just not for me I guess. I always go out and start it 10 minutes before I leave when it's cold. Plus I have heated seats that pretty much bake your back in less than 5 minutes.
some more pictures of my automobile.
