I've already destroyed my front lip because of the snow and ice, and i have my coils in the highest position...
keys for my car are like 80$ :(
keys for my car are like... free :v: my dad was a locksmith
gm key from 94? $0.99 win
gm key from 94? $0.99 win
I can get mine that cheap, but I wanted a unique key. I found out that the titanium part of my STI key was just a cover over some weird T shaped key, so I am going to an actual locksmith's place to get a key custom cut instead of this hardware store/walmart bullshit.
I finally found a set of original VTi rims in good condition  The pictures aren't very flattering though. I'm thinking about painting them white, thoughts? I don't think they will fit pretty well white.. keep them polished and shiny is my suggestion
Go black and pinstripe the lip red, obviously. Gods, that's original. No, just get them shiny.
It looks like someone already painted them, lol.
Combination of Hella FF75's driving and fog lights. It's pretty safe to say that I'm buying a few sets of these once the Christmas money gets here. It's also safe to say oncoming traffic is going to hate you. But then again those are extended exposures they probably aren't that bright.
Obviously, you're not going to get that brightness factor with low budget lights. I'm talking to a guy that's got them on his truck and he says they're still pretty damn bright for the price. Edit: They're switched separately.
Got the first snow of the ear yesterday and I decided the durango does not handle snow well at all in 2wd. That thing can hardly move if there is any snow in 2wd.
Got the first snow of the ear yesterday and I decided the durango does not handle snow well at all in 2wd. That thing can hardly move if there is any snow in 2wd.
What kind of tires?
What kind of tires?
Road/trail tires.
You'd think they'd have no problem gripping at all. Were you using a bit of throttle maybe..?
You'd think they'd have no problem gripping at all. Were you using a bit of throttle maybe..?
Not really I was trying to coax it so it wouldn't slide and I could do shit. I had to finally slow down and go into 4 wheel but I just think I should be able to grip some what in 2wd.
My pathfinder slides around in the ice on 32x12.50 Baja Champions.
My pathfinder slides around in the ice on 32x12.50 Baja Champions.
What kinda horsepower do you have because the durango has 235 which might be why is spins sooo easily and it is fairly light for an suv.
Are you talking ice, snow, or mix. My Explorer slips when it rains more than it does when it snows. Which is weird.
If I had a 'teg and it came with these rims I'd instantly take them off and try to find these: i want a gsr so bad for some reason
Are you talking ice, snow, or mix. My Explorer slips when it rains more than it does when it snows. Which is weird.
Lite slush or snow and even light rain it does the same thing in all of them.
Lite slush or snow and even light rain it does the same thing in all of them.
Shit tires probably. Although Anything is going to slip if you're driving on ice, unless you have studded tires. Unless you have tires made for snow, or mud terrain or even all terrains like me, you probably won't get much traction, most tires today are made for eather rain to prevent hydroplaning, or just straight up street tires. You say you have road/trail tires, what do you mean by that? Brand etc.? For example, my dad has BF Goodrich KO All Terrains, I've got those will take you through rain, snow, mud, dirt, sand, etc. no problem but like i said the minute you hit ice it's over...Just talked to my dad and he said "Road/Trail" tires are just plain street tires, which explains why you've got no traction. Me personally, I've got an offbrand mud/all terrain tire, here's a (large) picture: Now i don't know what vehicle you have, but if it's a truck (i saw you mention 4x4) you might want to get a set of these, or at least look into it. If you still slide around in 4 wheel drive and lose traction, maybe look into a set of tire chains? [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] Just saw your post, the durango is a fairly small suv compared to my huge ass truck, but you can still fit a decent sized pair of all terrains under it and that will increase your traction phenomenally. My dad had street tires on his dodge ram and the minute you tapped the gas pedal he would spin tires (on dry pavement). The minute he got the set of KO's, he was able to mash the pedal to the floor and only skip the tires, his traction increased that much.

Make it 2-doors and shorten it a bit, and it'd be sexy (Like the BMW Z5 Roadster)
