http://www.viceland.com/ So Vice is a pretty neat magazine that I still don't understand. I used to think it was some sort of indie hipster magazine, but they cover some heavy political issues like North Korea and Liberia. If the first you've ever seen of VBS and Vice is the liberia and north korea videos, they may seem like revolutionary reporters going from corrupt country to corrupt country attempting to expose the evils of the world, but that's not EXACTLY it. Though they range from odd to awesome, revolutionary to revolting, they do some pretty interesting stories, like "Doin' it Baja" where they follow a bunch of skaters taking a motorcycle trip through the deserts of Baja California in Mexico Their magazine looks interesting and I hope to get a subscription soon. Something to check out it "DOs and DONTs" So I hope you check out more of this and join me in the first holy church of Shane Smith
With a name like that I was really expecting a porno mag of some sort.
I have VBS.TV bookmarked and visit it often. I love documentary style, and they have some really great examples with what they do. Watch the Doin' it Baja series, and really anything from the Vice Guide to Travel. Shane seems like a great guy, and I really like the way they work.
...Because political things in North Korea aren't byast or anything.
Hmm seems interesting, will take a look.
...Because political things in North Korea aren't byast or anything.
What?
Last time I checked, North Korea is a communist country, and all media is controlled by the govt. Therefore, the info may not be entirely true.
Last time I checked, North Korea is a communist country, and all media is controlled by the govt. Therefore, the info may not be entirely true.
Well they went IN to North Korea so tough titties.
Keep it livid, keep it dense yeah?
Last time I checked, North Korea is a communist country, and all media is controlled by the govt. Therefore, the info may not be entirely true.
They can't really control media that exists outside their government, now can they
That's just what they WANT you to think
I think this post thinks that the DPRK has no control over exterior media. That's just what YOU want me to think.
:psyduck:
I believe that this post is trying to state that my post is confusing. That's just what YOU think and what YOU want others to think too about my post about YOU wanting me and other people to think that the DPRK wants us to think they don't have control over exterior media when they probably don't regardless of what YOU are trying to make me think, regardless of the fact that the Vice Guide to North Korea shows the DPRK as a poor, run-down country, which shows that they have little control to exterior media provided by the fact that this is shown thereby almost entirely invalidating your theory that the DPRK has control over exterior media which you tried to make people "realize" but I said otherwise, saying that "That's just what YOUR post want us to believe." [editline]06:31PM[/editline] Maybe you should think otherwise about confusing posts or at least try to prevent us from not believing your idea that certain posts are confusing. Why? I think people can decide for themselves whether or not they want to trust their faith in a post that says another post saying that "That's just what YOU wants to think" is correct or incorrect about your post stating that "That's just what <COUNTRY/GOVERNMENT/ORGANIZATION NAME HERE> wants us to think".
