I had 2 cats but when we moved we found a stray who kept coming to our house for food. It turns out that cat was pregnant and gave birth to 4 kittens during a hurricane, 2 black, 2 orange. We adopted that cat (who's name is Sammy) and all of their kittens. Such is the tale of my life in the country.

My grandmother has had 12 (not at once) cats and they all either got ran over or killed by a dog.
