I thought it was advertised wrong (as a comedy), it was actually a pretty good film.
I enjoyed it the first time I saw it. All the subsequent times I thought it was just okay. I'm not a big Adam Sandler fan.

Based off the comic and every part of it was true to that comic, minus the ending, but the movie was made before the last book so that's understandable

Really? I've never met a person who hated Hellraiser 1 (but I've seen hate for 2 even though it's one of the best sequels of the series) nor a person who hated Nightmare On Elm Street except the later sequels and the remake.
