Don't know about you, I saw it in ~1999 and I loved it. Then rewatched last year.
worse than avp?
actually, avp was kind of interesting, cheesy and all but it still was fun to watch. MOTHERFUCKING AVP2 IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF CINEMA it was like watching a hairy rotten ass taking a putrid shit on your favourite saga, with the guy smiling at you with some sexual joy in his face. you cant get worse than that, no no, you know what? you can, because of this shit movie we will never see a good alien vs predator movie on the colonial marines context, or any...its a lsot franchise with tons of potencial. In moments like this i feel the urge to be a fucking producer.
avp and avp 2 are two of the worst films ever made

I like how everyone's cheering on Speed Racer as he brutally murders two racers at the end
avp and avp 2 are two of the worst films ever made
i think the tone of the movies made them what they were. There was neither an alien feel or a predator feel, just a generic action film featuring 2 big movie monsters. No horror, no drama, nothing. Just action. They suck so bad, oh god, but by the time avp 1 came out i still liked it because i was a child, who knows...
Alien Resurrection had the benefit of actually being entertaining oh yeah and it has Ron Perlman, who pretty much makes anything worth watching atleast once. AVP was just awful in every sense of the word.
Budget $60 million WHO THE FUCK GIVES HIM MONEY
he finances his films through his own company the better question is, how the fuck does he get that money?
worse than avp?
I was talking strictly about the Alien movies. AvP and AvP2 are their own thing as far as I am concerned.

haha i was waiting for that. such a shit movie, too. not that the games are that great either.
im not sure if people hate it, but it does have low rating. ace ventura 2
People hates Ave Ventura 2? Might not be as funny as the first but I still laugh my ass of at it.
he finances his films through his own company the better question is, how the fuck does he get that money?
German Taxes. Not kidding. He used to be able to get funding from investors due to financing German films was tax deductible. The law was changed in 2005, so I dunno how he's doing it now.
I like how everyone's cheering on Speed Racer as he brutally murders two racers at the end
they kept that concept kid-friendly by having the drivers get ejected from their cars in protective bubbles, you can see them popping out
Everyone seemed to hate this movie, but I really enjoyed it.
Mainly because I live in a part of the world where everyone hates science fiction. Oh and I guess the people who had seen it have no idea what the fuck was going on.
I loved it the first time I saw it but the flaws really begin to stick out on a second view, really glad it made me go and read the book though.
Troll 2
The Matrix sequels.
Drive Angry had me and my best friend in absolute stitches it was so bad I wholeheartedly enjoyed that movie
The Matrix sequels.
I thought everybody liked those, Reloaded was awesome
The Matrix has aged so horribly at this point that all three of them are laughable, but I remember even at the time, watching the sequels, thinking "wow this shit is ridiculous"
I have met very few people who agree with this, but I enjoyed the hell out of this movie. There's nothing even remotely realistic about it (though I'm not sure there should have been), but the acting was solid enough, the cinematography was surprisingly good, and Roland Emmerich continues to prove that he can show obscene amounts of global destruction in a very compelling way. I especially like how much the camera lingers on the destruction and effects and uses a great sense of visual composition to frame them, rather than just relying on quick cuts like many other action films.
Drive Angry had me and my best friend in absolute stitches it was so bad I wholeheartedly enjoyed that movie
better than Bangkok Dangerous?
The Da Vinci Code I don't think it's a film meant to be taken literally. For me, it's fiction based on historical facts and mythology around quite an invigorating plot. Also whoever isn't moved by the great score is kidding themselves. Inception had a score that was FEABLE compared to the one here. I mean that. And everyone hates this film, literally noone thinks anything of it. [editline]27th January 2013[/editline] but me :'-(

On that note, Angels and Demons. It was a pretty good thriller. Plus that twist.
On that note, Angels and Demons. It was a pretty good thriller. Plus that twist.
I thought it was clever until I realized that every single Dan Brown novel has literally the same twist. Then it got stupid. [editline]27th January 2013[/editline] Also I love the movie Mean Girls.
Cloverfield.
Twister Titanic O Brother, where art Thou? Joe Dirt
I've watched Yes Man over 15 times, and I have no idea why. I don't even like Jim Carey
O Brother, where art Thou?
People didn't like this movie? Wha?
