I am starting to think that you don't actually know who Werner Herzog is.
it was a mistake! I've seen World on a Wire and some of Berlin Alexanderplatz. That's about it. They were pretty cool.
It's someone elses project, you choose to experience their work. Yet you're disinterested by what they put out so really it is the audience wasting its time for seeing things they know they won't like. Honestly people seem to see things for the sake of them being popular and it's so pointless.
um??? it's not really a popularity thing the film was boring as hell I really can't tell what you're talking about, because although I'm sure what you're saying is "it's your fault the film sucked so stop complaining," I refuse to let that be the answer because that is fucking absurd.
um??? it's not really a popularity thing the film was boring as hell I really can't tell what you're talking about, because although I'm sure what you're saying is "it's your fault the film sucked so stop complaining," I refuse to let that be the answer because that is fucking absurd.
well it is, if there's nothing you appreciated in a movie experience, you've willingly wasted your time. The film isn't forced into your life mate. I hated "The Life of David Gale", doesn't mean I'm disatisfied and angry about seeing it though.
Um. Ok, let's back it up a bit. "if there's nothing you appreciated in a movie experience, you've willingly wasted your time" No, willingly wasting my time would be if I watched a movie that was unanimously considered terrible and dull. I willingly saw a film that was about the hunt for osama bin laden (which is a subject matter that, well, sounds interesting at the very least), of which I had heard a variety of opinions. I didn't willingly waste my time. I just happened to have wasted my time because, as it turns out, the movie sucks. honestly how can you even write up half your posts, look at it before hitting "submit," and just be all like "yep makes sense" [editline]28th January 2013[/editline] also I'm not really angry about ZDT so idk what ur getting at with that
It's just a different way of looking at films. You wanted to "just see a film about capture of bin laden" watch a documentary.
are you serious I can't tell, I honestly can't. Are you a parody account? Are you a seriously dedicated satire artist? What's your deal, dude? You missed the point by a mile.
also I'm not really angry about ZDT so idk what ur getting at with that
I'm not referring to you personally. I don't give a crap what you do. [editline]28th January 2013[/editline]
are you serious I can't tell, I honestly can't. Are you a parody account? Are you a seriously dedicated satire artist? What's your deal, dude? You missed the point by a mile.
You questioned me first. You only moan when I explain where I'm coming from.
it's like arguing with a brick wall that has a speakerbox that just spews out pseudo philosophical bullcrap about how boredom shouldn't exist and avoids the point with silly nonsense how do you function [editline]28th January 2013[/editline]
You questioned me first. You only moan when I explain where I'm coming from.
because where youre coming from is silly and makes no sense to anyone but you your logic train doesn't run on different tracks, it's literally off the rails
avoids the point because where youre coming from is silly and makes no sense to anyone but you your logic train doesn't run on different tracks, it's literally off the rails
Then why bother moaning? What's your goal if it isn't to see what I'm trying to put forward? I make one remark and you go off on a tantrum.
Im trying very hard, actually, and i still dont see it Because as i said before, nothing you say makes sense or means anything
Im trying very hard, actually, and i still dont see it Because as i said before, nothing you say makes sense or means anything
It's not difficult to understand "desire not to get bored".
the truth is "your both stupid for still responding to each" toher
And if i come across as angry, its only because there is.nothing more frustrating than trying to discuss someone as.deliberately obtuse as you
And if i come across as angry, its only because there is.nothing more frustrating than trying to discuss someone as.deliberately obtuse as you
That's fair enough but I'm only trying to fulfil what you asked for. I've only just cooked up this boredom thing so please give it time. :-(
You guys are fucking idiots
Now I really dont want to be racist or sound racist. The best time I had watching a film with my mates while drunk was .............. Komodo vs Cobra Not just for the terrible acting and the unlimited ammo in the pistols but for the fact of watch the only extra they could afford which was Delpaneaux Wills. This guy was literally the only extra for the miltary base area and he would every so often walk in the back end of the corridor to make out the place was busy. Everytime he walked past we ending making it into a game of knocking back the drink you had everytime you saw him. Literally dont play that game I threw up so bad that night
I'm on Itachi's side here. It's not like people choose to not find something interesting. You could walk out but then you are just wasting your money. Unless you can somehow see the future you don't know if you are going to be entertained by a film before you see it, of course you are going to come across a film that bores you at some point. No one enjoys everything.
I think I kind of get what AK'z was getting at. Take the Matrix 3 for example. The first was a classic and we all went to the cinema for pt2 expecting another great film and it was a bag of shit. We all fell for it again when pt3 came out even though most of us knew it was going to be shit. We all do it at times, we go into a film knowing full well we are in for a bad one. I might be way off the point he was making but thats quite ok, it was an opinion that got us debating, lets not start hating on our bro. Much love to all. Please lets not get into a Matrix debate.
You could walk out but then you are just wasting your money.
hate people who walk out, I saw NATIONAL TREASURE 2. Total bag of ass, there were better films out at the time but nobody wanted to see them. Instead we all chilled and had a good time, few of my friends did walk out though which was sad. I even saw Transformers 2 at a theatre, was again.. very poor but the only way to enjoy it is to remember what it was like to be 5. Lucky I skipped ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS because I was almost forced to take my nephew but I made him realise the error of his ways quick enough and we saw Puss in Boots. There will be times, when you're forced to do things you don't want to do. If you're in that situation, there's no point giving up but seeing the brighter side of what you're doing. This discussion is now going into another place so yeah.
So dont waste your time with movies you expect to be bad but if you get caught in one stick it through? lol
So dont waste your time with movies you expect to be bad but if you get caught in one stick it through? lol
i don't get why this is bad. better happy than grumpy.
can't beat a bit of nic cage
Such a ridiculous film, the finale has Van Damme fight a shirtless mickey Rourke on a minefield in the Colosseum with a tiger while Dennis Rodman drives around them on a dirt bike. Rodmans character is an "international arms dealer who operates from a front, a Belgian sex club in Antwerp" really dumb but really funny and fun.
I thought the second National Treasure was pretty inferior to the first one.
its pretty uninspired when it comes to orchestral, inceptions is far more unique. hans zimmer is great but he's over rated and hit and miss. like i said, shame's rendition of 'journey to the line' was much better.
zimmer isn't that great, 90% of all his work is nothing but percussion and strings. very over-rated. not all that creative.
So dont waste your time with movies you expect to be bad but if you get caught in one stick it through?
Oh?
movie 43: -10/10 I got dragged to this by friends because i couldnt convince them to see anything else and i want to fucking kill myself
lol _______________________
wait when were you finally unbanned
My problem was with one of the mods and we managed to sort out our differences.
dang dude u showed me (your lack of basic reading comprehension)
I have a soft-spot for Red Dawn, honestly. Not the new one.
It's been a while since I've seen them. I think I last watched them back-to-back when I was about 14 around the time that the second one was pretty new. It's been about 5 years, though. I'll have to watch them again sometime.
The second one does have its moments (Riley buzzing the statue, Cage kidnapping the president, Voight and Mirren arguing) but it's nowhere near as good as the first.
The Hobbit. Everybody I took and know hated it violently...
