Firefly: Sean Maher is incredibly sexy - General

If only someone would revive this series.

I watched the movie before I saw the TV show. Heck, I did not even realize that it was based on it until I watch the special features of the DVD. It is one totally one of the best scifi TV shows out there along with having one of the best opening credits ever. Goddamn I miss this show. I've got the DVD box set and the movie. Seen it all several times. I got to meet Alan Tudyk last year in vancouver, i was auditoning for Charlie St Cloud when he came through all cut up with fake blood on him. I recognized him and said hey, he was the fucking nicest actor i've met. He shook my hand, stood and talked for a few mintutes and wished me luck for the audition. He was doing some scenes for the tv show V in the next studio over. He was always my favorite character in firefly (dinosaur scene whattt), but after seeing how happy, and upbeat he was in person. Nothing could past him

Holy shit, I totally forgot I made this thread. This just in, I watched Serenity last night with my parents, even with as many times as shes seen it my mom still looks away when [sp]Wash gets impaled by the reavers bullshit[/sp] because [sp]wash[/sp] is her favorite character.

I really loved the series, too bad it only lasted 1 season. The movie was far from as good though. It felt like they turned it into an action movie with explosions just to please the audience, like the Star Trek TNG movies. The no-sound-in-space for example, what happened to that in the movie? I also loved the fact that the Orici was a whore =D

I can't see what's so good about this series. It seems pretty dull and normal.

I saw a couple of browncoats walking up to the movie theater for a showing of Serenity, and Dr Horrible a few days ago. It made me so sad that I wasn't going...

I just finished watching the series + movie. Fucking amazing. Serenity is AWESOME on Blu-Ray by the way.

Alright i'm gonna sound dumb but to me this, Stargate, Star Trek and all just blend into one mix for me.

I have never seen this but all your nerdgasming has convinced me to watch he pilot.

I really think the series gained more popularity because it went off the air before the ending of the first season. It will always be my favorite sci fi series. hands down.

The only time there was much sound in space was during the battle over that planet, but it's way more than awesome enough to forgive.
