Fun fact:
My dad designed the erginomics for the SA80, and when testing, peoples fingers got to close to the muzzle on tests, and er, yeaaah.

What the hell have those people ever fired a gun before.
Nah, in testing the barrel was a hellovalot shorter and the force down took fingers off.
Which gamo?
EDIT:
MY AUTOMERGE! YOU BROKE IT!
Hunter something (probably the cheapest one), regular bending barrel, black "Ultraoperator-material" classical style stock, and "antirecoil-pad" for the scope.
Srsly .177 cal air rifle, why it needs anti-recoil pad for the scope.
Don't really know how accurate it is, as I shoot some rusty pellets I bought 20 packs (500ea) for 10€ years ago.
Oh then I got a Gamo P-800 pistol.
Is it break barrel? They seem to have the most recoil, some are even designed too.

Fuck off.
On topic, to people think the extra price on hunting pellets is worth it?

Otherwise, mmmmmmmm, rabbiiiit.
Venison is the best out of all huntable meat imho though
tastes like soft beef
Prolly going to order a tacticool lazer kit with a gun slip, but I can't choose between pellets!
I've been rocking a Pump Master and a shitty Buck. Great little air rifles. I've made some pretty spectacular shots with them, though. So I'm happy.
I haven't used any of those, and I've only used, in the sense I've shot with it and stuff four rifles, two of which I owned. I'm not too sure about pump rifles, something about them is odd in my eyes. Not sure if it's the way the pump comes out of the stock or foregrip the way it does.
It's generally from the foregrip. And it happened to be my first BB gun. It took a Hell of a lot of coaxing to get that thing. Personally, I hated it. Took way to long to deliver a follow up shot when I'd play the role as an exterminator. But when I would just go plinking, I could hit a soda can and go through and through out to 150-200 feet on a good day. Not too amazing, but I was happy.
As for the Buck 105 I bought it from a Wal-Mart for like $20 just to keep myself occupied in suburban Phoenix. Took me about 500 BB's to become decent with it and I cut a beer can in half from a solid 100 feet. Haven't really used it since, but I'm back here in Arizona with nothing to do, so I might just set up some cans in the horse rink and see what I can do.
I thought this thread was about these:

Interesting read anyway though.

Eh, BBs? These:

Or these?

Isn't that called a pellet gun?
I'm more interested in pellet guns because I have a few of those myself.

Copper .177 BB's. Not the 6mm airsoft pellets.
I know the difference between a BB/pellet gun and an airsoft gun.

Pellet guns tend to be more purpose built (marksmanship or hunting) because they are generally more accurate and have greater stopping power. They are also used in more powerful airguns, more often than not.
I prefer BB guns, though. When I hunt or work on my marksmanship, I like to use a firearm, where when I'm just popping soda cans in a close, urban area, I don't need extreme range or accuracy, so a BB is just fine.
In the UK there isn't really such thing as a pellet gun, there is an air rifle (the matter of the thread) and a BB gun, which is an airsoft gun.
The names are interchangeable. But airsoft gun is airsoft gun.
