okay great. then :wtc: where we arguing about.
we're arguing about changing the $ bill right? [editline]05:16PM[/editline] I think the old bill is fine, we don't need a new bill
Well that's great. Because I find this bill to be a gigantic waste of money. we are literally throwing away money we don't have.
Well that's great. Because I find this bill to be a gigantic waste of money. we are literally throwing away money we don't have.
well i'm sure you can still use the old 1 dollar bills
FLAME, FLAME, FLAME! Make a point supporting the bill.
I support the bill because I think healthcare is just as important for everyone to have as education. The insurance companies have terrible practices that end up ruining the lives of many who thought they were insured. Then there are those that simply can't get insurance because they already have a medical condition. Human societies formed in the first place for the sole purpose of mutual protection. If everyone needs to pay a little extra so that nobody needs to choose which finger to re-attach, so be it. Everyone has something to gain from a government alternative to health insurance companies. It will add competition to private health insurers which will reduce their prices so that more people can afford to not use the government alternative in the first place. Is that enough fuel for you to continue?

why is everyone talking about health care
yeah but the low healthcare costs leave you fucked because you only get the simple stuff. plus it's shelling out money we don't have.
Insurance companies already pay out as little as they possibly can. They are making billions of dollars in profit now, they'll simply be making a reasonable amount once they're not the only ones providing the service. Taxes will be raised a moderate amount, but it's worth the service and they can be lowered quite a bit once the wars are over.
yeah but when the government comes and takes over you will have less money for you.
yeah but when the government comes and takes over you will have less money for you.
What do you mean by "comes and takes over".
What do you mean by "comes and takes over".
they're basically going to shut out the private option because they're going to penalize you for choosing it.
they're basically going to shut out the private option because they're going to penalize you for choosing it.
In what way? I saw one of the people who helped write the bill say there were no penalties for choosing a private company. You got a source on this?
This could be good or so fucking bad we WILL regret it. I'm against it, but there's no point in debating because there not listening anyway, like the governments going to listen to what we say. And i agree with Back_slash there going to shut out the private option ;just to prove it they have a hotline you could call to report people who speak against the obama health plan. It reminds me of how the Nazis used the hitler youth to spy on people who spoke against Hitler. Its all so similar to the Nazis....its kinda scary to see what Americas coming to. *grabs rifle*
He's copying the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
