Holy shit. I was expecting it to have a shitty libarary, but it found the two following songs (which I couldn't find at all on a google search realiably): Andreas Viklund - Andact and Duende - Amor de Dios  Bookmark'd PS: Fantastic quality too

It even has chocolate rain remixes. :v:
What the heck, it's an aggregator. Edit: There's a Download Song button.
I love you so much OP Have my babies. They're tasty. Edit:
There's a Download Song button.
Where ? :raise: Edit: You have to pay if you click the download button. Someone find a way to rip these NOW !

Edit:
Someone find a way to rip these NOW !
Use audacity to rip the sounds that are coming out of your speakers. (ie the music) Pretty sloppy method though.
This is really great, it's like last.fm... BUT IT HAS A FUCKING REPEAT BUTTON! WIN!:4chan:
I use Deezer. It works really good. They've recently closed a deal with Universal Music Group, so they have quite some songs over there. Making an account allows you to save playlists and stuff. There is also a downloadlink that allows you to download the song through iTunes.
This website has a huge selection of songs ! This is incredible !
Are you sure? because it's all a flv file.
You can easily get a flv to mp3 converter.
:siren: I'm pretty sure this is legal, because you cannot download the songs, only listen to them. :siren: http://listen.grooveshark.com/ Nifty little site I stumbled across, it does exactly what you think it does. You can listen to tons of songs on a flash-based website for free. It also has some small useful features, like being able to make and save custom playlists and playing whole albums in order instead of single songs.
This is like the third app that stole the a.viary flash engine. What the heck! :argh: a.viary is an online graphics/3D dev suite. Edit: And the songs are easily rippable cause it's flash. Edit: Brighton Beach is a fairly unpopular song by the surely unpopular band Telepopmusik. And it has it. So it's pretty good, and I love the interface. Good stuff, nice find. (listen to the song, it's very relaxing) Edit: Holy shit it has Yann Tiersen songs from the Amelie soundtrack. THis stuff is golden. Sorry for all of the edits, but what the heck, right?
I love you OP
Wrong. Get a packet sniffer and take the files directly. What's that? I can download from Myspace even when "download" is greyed out?
You can download greyed out files from MySpace using DownloadHelper.
I find it funny they are charging 99 cents for songs that were released for free on the net. Or albums that are completely mislabelled and from a different artist entirely.
It still doesn't have where you are by October Project. I can't find this song anywhere.
Bookmarked. Awesome site. Great interface.
You can easily get a flv to mp3 converter.
The website is a FLV, If you download the FLV you are going to get a null file. Try it yourself.
Bump to spread awareness of this great website.
Not bad, needs more 'Director' though.
Hi Here is another free music site - http://www.tv243.com "Music discovery website to listen to music and watch videos in shuffle mode. Search music videos, find similar artists, bands and internet radio channels." (User was permabanned for this post ("spambot" - Lithifold))
snip advert
You got banned last time for the exact same reason you're going to get banned again for. Look at thread dates, please.
Only pointless bumping gets you banned. And thanks for reviving the thread, this site is really useful.
You know what else does this? Youtube.
But Youtube has way less songs, and they're sometimes harder to find...
You know what else does this? Youtube.
Youtube is shit when it comes to music.
You know what else does this? Youtube.
Youtube also requires you to buffer a video when you just want to listen to music. Waste of bandwidth. Also the audio quality's worse, even when in HD. Grooveshark just streams MP3s, which sound better. EDIT: oh shit this thread was created in summer 2009? Nice bump o:
Ever since my last reformat, I've been using grooveshark as my primary audio player. I have no local music library. I used Chrome to create an app shortcut, so it works like any other player. It's perfect. I hope they never get shut down. If they don't have a track that you want, then you can dig up an mp3 and upload it
edit: Oh shit this thread was created in summer 2009? Nice bump o:
2008.
The website is a FLV, If you download the FLV you are going to get a null file. Try it yourself.
DownloadHelper worked perfectly? I didn't get a null flv I got a full mp3 thingo.
I've been using Grooveshark for nearly a year. I use ReplayMusic to download streaming music off it xD. I uploaded an album of No More Kings (relatively unheard of band), so I contributed to it's awesomeness.
Great site, I usually use youtube for songs that I refuse to download.
