It could also be another subgenre of Hardcore (like UK Hardcore, for example) or it could be a fast version of Hands Up. Here's an example of Makina: Here's an example of Hands Up (which is similar but much slower): Here's an example of UK Hardcore (which is also similar): I think that it is most likely Makina, but I am no expert. :)

It starts out like some droney horror soundtrack and turns into a dream pop/trip hop kinda thing. A tasteful future garage, I'd say. How about an unusual request: one of my own tracks :v: I listen to a lot of electronic music and make some as well, but this time I made a track which kind of sounds like house, but i'm not sure what specific genre of house (or if it even is house) Interested in your take on this!
genre or any other song like this
I'd say Chillstep outright, the problem being that chillstep covers A LOT of stuff now. Its hard to categorize it precisely. Phaeleh is the biggest example of stuff like this that I can think of- Killigrew comes to mind as well. Both are still chill, but commonly stick to just sub basses and strong melodic lines. Rameses B has some stuff similar to this too, Eyes Wide Open by Tony Anderson seems like a fit I think, Hurt by Jacoo, some of Koda's stuff, and maybe Ghosts of Paraguay too? Idk, sorry if this isn't what you're thinking of. Its still an interesting listen, but it reminds of many of the offshoots of acid house (if anything house-y) or psy trance. Its fairly sparse though, so hard to judge. Its not quite dancy enough, and doesn't feel like too sample-based either. Honest question as well, for one of my tracks (I need to be better able to sort into genres for marketing stuffs according to my boss) and for another that I can't quite figure out. I went with Liquid DnB, but that doesn't really. I don't think Melodic Dubstep or Chillstep fits either. I'd like to find more stuff like this, as this seems like a lot of fun to try making!
