Watched it last night, fucking shit film.
Acting is terrible, storyline is even worse.
The only good part is near the end with the old fart with the gun and the sack boy looking thing.

The trailer reminded me of those Goosebump books. I think it was: Goosebumps: Attack of the Jack-O-Lanterns. Something like that.

I think its brilliantly made, reminds me of all the movies i used to love that came on during halloween but in a more adult form, i think people are taking it waaay too seriously, roll with it.

Shawshank Redemption = Drama. Trick 'r Treat = Horror.
I think that, for the most part, those of you that hate the movie took it too seriously. It's a horror movie, you shouldn't go in expecting incredible acting and a beautiful, complex plot.
That would be like going to watch Die Hard and hating it because "the plot was stupid." Set your expectations accordingly and the movie is much more enjoyable.
