I've never read nor seen anything pertaining to green lantern in my life (aside from random episodes of Justice League) and even [i]I[/i] know Ryan Reynolds was a horrible choice for Hal Jordan. Also, the horrible CGI makes everything look like a video game cut-scene...

Seen it, its shit, i mean i wasn't expecting much but..................WOW talk about how to take an amazingly well built mythology and piss all over it. They tried too much to relate it to the "Real World" also way too little of OA and the GLs in it. It has to be asked why can't they just take the origin novel and put it onto the screen with a few MINOR changes or at least get people to produce/direct/write the movie that have at least READ a fucking GL comic book!

I went in with no expectations at all, since im not really that familiar with Green Lantern. I sort of liked it. I loved how they did Parallax as a monster of fear, it actually freaked me out a little bit. But some of the acting was shit and the dialogue was bad at some points. aka its ok but not that good.

Saw it today. It was dumb, cliche, brought up a lot of pointless plot threads, and wasn't at all true to the actual Green Lantern. In other words, about usual for a superhero movie. [editline]18th June 2011[/editline] Although the acting struck me as unusually sub-par, even for a superhero movie.

Wow everyone is hating on this movie. It honestly wasn't that bad.

DC, its like a rocking boat. They'll have their ups and downs. One moment you have a fucking amazing movie, the next you have a shit movie.
