I wish my parents were this cool, if I made my mom play half-life 2 we would just get frustrated at each other like always.
I remember UberHaxorNova making a couple episodes of Happy Wheels with his mom, hilarious shit.
your Mom wants to play something with bunnies and butterflies
you should have her play TF2 with pyrovision on
Your mum wants puppies, I think it's time for Penumbra.
Have them "play" the romance scenes in any of the Mass Effect or Dragon Age games. We've seen them react to violence, how would they react to alien sex?
"oh, hey."
Your parents are pro.
*room full of bodies*
"Well that's not good..."
Have your parents join a 64 player Dark RP server
Is your monitor a Syncmaster SA300?

Also I love the videos.

Make this happen.
They should play Peggle. Play a game your mom would like for once :v:

On downtown_v2.
she wants puppies?
How can we make these videos more popular?
I'll trade you my dad for yours.
It would be an interesting twist to have them play something co-op like L4D together but not possible without two computers, two copies etc
He can get co-op L4D without two computers or two separate copies if he uses the splitscreen feature. Me and my cousin do that all the time and it works great.

Redux
"Nice pinata."
I hate to break this to you, but your father was a mass murder in a previous life.
This is the greatest thing
"I'm usually capable of withstanding that kind of explosion, and blades and that kind of thing."
Your dad is hilarious.
I love the child-like innocence they go into games with
They can look at the games purely as an experience, without getting all judgemental over graphics or game design and stuff
Actually you really need to put them into DARKRP. That is actually the most genius idea I've seen :O
Your mum wants puppies, I think it's time for Penumbra.
Do this. Tell her "Hey mom, want a game with puppies?" and load up the first tunnel level of Penumbra.
I second Metro 2033 if you picked it up when it was free
I want to see how they react to the setting/environment
Half Life more scary than Dead Space to your mother, that's pretty interesting. Or maybe she just tried to forget that too.
dead space sucks
You should go for other genres and stuff. Also, it'd be nice if when they play long games people are familiar with, you had a couple saves at some interesting points of the game (example here would be the City 17 into, Ravenholm, the dune buggy section, and maybe the Citadel) instead of them just doing one area. The bit where your mom went "can I stop now" was just begging for a change to a whole different level...
For game suggestions I'd say a GTA game, because there your mom has the chance to not do anything bad and drive according to the law and stuff while your dad punches everything to death, and Garry's Mod vanilla. Drop them into a new singleplayer GM_Construct game, give them basic directions, and just record what happens.

Make it the Richard Boderman campaign for good measure :v:
Saints Row 3! :V

Gmod is a good idea, but that may take some time to teach them all of the tools.
