Contact NewEgg directly by calling them. Ask to speak to the person who originally served you this support. Explain your situation and ask why you haven't received the email. Ask why Newegg shipped it to that specific address and why they didn't contact you beforehand to confirm your real address out of all the others listed. Question them, get answers and make them fix your situation. It's possible you might have to call FedEx afterwards. If you've already been charged for the shipment then make Newegg pay back the loss with real money. It's their fault and not yours. You're calling them to get shit fixed and done with, not for them to apologize to you constantly. Take full control and try to get it done with in one call.
I have two questions. The first is why do many people recommend buying from newegg rather than amazon? And the second question is how many weeks (or even months) passed between that time you payed for the case and the time you got it back?
Probably because honestly this is the first time I've heard they have such terrible support and issues. 99% of people who use the site tend to not have any problems at all and I've never had any. Good to know though, that when things go wrong with a newegg order, they FANTASTICALLY go wrong. At least when things screw up with Amazon its not the end of the world. [editline]11th December 2013[/editline]
Yeah, Amazon is usually a lot better than most other online retailers. Only problem I had with them was paying for 1-day shipping and UPS taking a fucking week to deliver the product. Other than that, it's usually worth it to spend the extra $10 on Amazon, if only for the half-decent customer service.
I've had that happen to me before. It was actually kind of awesome - ordered release-day shipping for Witcher 2. Game releases, and it takes over a week later for me to get the shipment.. huh... Good news is because it was so late my order was completely refunded but I still got to keep the game. Yay!

Tiger Direct
Fucking egg puns.
Fuck, Newegg's gone down the goddamn shitter...
Yeah Fry's is great and in my experience, have had better deals than most of the other retail chains.
Except arduino stuff. Never buy arduino stuff from Frys. Bluetooth Arduino board? $130 Buy it anywhere else? $40 Also be sure to check if there is a near identical item in another department for less, that shit happens so often. 8 gig usb drive, in the storage section its like 5 bucks... but in the music section, the same size drive, same speed, 15. Why? "portable music storage drive" mini-usb cable, 3 feet. 5 a pop in the phone section, 2 a pop in the cable and component section.

I know the one near the space center in Houston almost always has special editions about 20 bucks cheaper than the standard release.

well did you have an eggcellent day?
Did a support rep seriously write ":)"? Holy shit!
I placed a couple orders a few years back and had to have one canceled (they were duped) Support was fine back then canceled it with ease. Good to see they've gone to shit. Though that was the .ca newegg so maybe we have different people managing it.
Have you been charged the 50$ shipment, at last?
Newegg used to be good, too...
Got a pretty big order successfully, thankfully that all went fine.
Did newegg really just randomly choose that address or was it actually the last shipment address you used?
snip i guess that was dumb?
You committed and admitted to it, of course it was.
eggcellent bag
man, I don't know why but I lol'd so hard at that. thank you for making my day.
Did a support rep seriously write ":)"? Holy shit!
Support staff are commonly very badly trained. Plus despite what you might think, a simple smiley might take a customer leaps and bounds when trying to remedy their issues.
Due to the amount of repeated phrases, I genuinely can't tell if Emily is a real person or a bot
98% sure not a bot. English is not her native language most likely. I'm married to a non-native English speaker and she seems really similar.
I've been using Newegg for 3+ years and I haven't had a single problem with them. A lot of shit I order from them ships before 3PM EST (granted I usually buy stuff after 3) and is here the next day. I've had numerous problems with NCIX and TigerDirect.
I haven't had any issues with newegg before. Last time I contacted support was about a deal they had and asked if I could somehow pay the price at a later time. They said nope. But gave me a discount code for MORE money off than the item deal originally had. Oh well, everyone is bound to have a terrible experience with a company at some point. [edit] Oh the one thing I hate about newegg is the return policies, that stuff is a complete dick in the dick.
hook up on snapchat.
Sorry?
Sorry?
:)
do they ship to the UK yet qq
I've been looking for those bags everywhere, you ungrateful cunt.
Fuck, Newegg's gone down the goddamn shitter...
It's easy to see why Newegg is going down the shitter, it's because they went public. Since their founding up until recently, all they've had to answer to are their customers. Now they have to answer to their shareholders, most of which are more interested in turning a profit for themselves rather than the petty needs of a customer they'll never see or hear from. Things rarely go well for companies that go public, except for the people that own the stock in the company in question.
