Counting myself fortunate that I've yet to run into that problem. On other hand, I'm fighting against people who use M4 pistols/chop the buffer tube and stocks off and shoot full-auto, so I think it's worse at Tac City.
I have a high disliking for Stubby M4's.

I had a cheap stubby M4, I fell and the crane stock and buffer tube came clean off, so at the event I was playing at (Merida, night ops at Hudson Valley Airsoft), I jsut taped my battery to the side, popped in a Hi-cap and shot at a few people after watching them advance on our base. Needless to say, they found me and I didn't hit them and I became their first hostage whom they threw frozen hot dogs at and made lots of penis jokes.

Anyways my Classic Army AR10 (pretty much a SR25) sucks balls so I bought a new front end RIS to replace the freefloating wobbly one as well as the shitty hopup (I have no idea what part is wrong; the hopup works sometimes and doesn't work other times) so I bought a systema bucking and hopefully that fixes my hunk of junk
Interestingly, my TM G36c works fine without me needing to maintain it for over 4 years

After much thought, I plan on getting the WE M14. Not to mention a decent amount of magazines as I plan on using it in skirmishes. I don't have to worry about performance either, as I'll be playing near Phoenix.
