I'm getting a set of woodland MARPAT and a vest. I can't decide on CB or OD for the vest though, any comparison pics? I've only seen CB with MARPAT but it seems like OD would go with it better.

I'm still deciding on what to get for ALICE pouches, I'm thinking,
x2 M15 magazine pouches, one spare if I have enough
x2 Canteen things
x1 IFAK
x1 buttpack
x1 folding shovel thing
x1 compass pouch
Also, if I have enough, a medium pack type deal
What else should I buy that would be useful?

CB looks soo much better with MARPAT. Makes it more multi-environment-ish too.

x6 Universal Magazine Pouches
x2 Canteens and covers
x1 Compass pouch
x1 Medical pouch
x1 Medium Backpack
I also use an M16 bandoleer.
Unless your going for a specific look, why get an E-Tool?
EDIT: Yes, I need to carry 26 AR mags.
My MOLLE/ALICE rig is a h-suspenders / belt setup with a butt pack, canteen, dump pouch, double AK mag pouches x3, and a divers knife and sheath.
What would you guys suggest for a MOLLE vest? One that isn't crazy expensive either.

I have a shovel, just no pouch, figured it'd be cool to have on, in case I use the rig for storage of shit when I go on hikes and shit in the spring and summer.
Just sort of getting more use out of it I guess.

Mesh mask (the stalker one with goggles) might be not-so-bad-looking on the generic rebel/terrorist but WWII Soviet soldier? :colbert:
Who cares? I've seen plenty of people in WW2/Vietnam loadouts with brassguards and goggles and even paintball masks. Sometimes practicality has to win out over looks. Speaking of which it's the clone brassguard right? How is it?

Tru but modern loadouts on the other hand have a pretty good balance with the brassguard masks and they don't look half bad at all when combined; i'm looking for one that looks alrite at the same time as being practical... although I think I may be too unrealistic with my objective
As for the brassguard masks, I have noo idea since I was thinking of getting one
I think some user here had a brassguard mask; not sure if it's the real one or clone one
Anyone know where to find one of those quilted Russian jackets? I've been looking up and down for them.
