WE's has been in the making for a while. Until now the only way to have one was to get the plastic 200 FPS $230 Tanaka one.

Get the Dboys over Echo 1, it's the same gun just $40 more for E1. The only problem is the Dboys is pot metal as opposed to aluminum or steel.

I just got back from AEX and inspected the KWA SR10
Overall alrite, the construction is solid and it's an M4 based gun; what more you expect?
Some things Will at the store told me though:
-Delta ring is hard to remove: It makes swapping the RIS to another front end conversion harder
-Hopup is 2 piece: You can't replace it; also it's like every other M4 hopup where the setting will shift as the gun vibrates or shakes
-Schematics for the stock a wee bit different for aftermarket parts/existing brands so you may want to 'modify' it (implying that you'll probably need hand tools)
-Same goes for MBKs if you want to swap out the generic KWA logo'd reciever
on topic:
I got the KWA speedloader; waaay more sturdier design than existing M4 speedloaders and pistol mag speedloaders

The 557 model with the side-mounted controls so I can use it on my TAR 21 or mount flip-up sights, magnifiers etc. behind it.

lotsa resistance on the battery; runs hot as hell; no idea why the gearbox cycles halfway but using a 9.6v (I don't have one) made the gun jam less; I dropped it off at AEX and their technicians will take a look at it since they suspect the internals to be pretty fucked up
other than that it's nearly flawless with the 9.6v but what the staff there thought was weird is that ARES' guns should work with an 8.4 which I used so yea, they're going to take it apart and see if they can fix it
I'm hoping they don't 'shotgun' the PPSh without the safety on and ruin my systema hopup which I was originally intending to use on my G36c :smith:

Well, I had a problem like that once, with getting a shot off and having it cycle like that while getting really hot. My battery was bad, I was using a burnt out NiCad and it was causing the trouble. 9.6v Intellect NiMh cleared it right up though.
