I've pretty much given up on the SCAR. If I'm going to splurge on a gun, I may as well splurge on the Magpul Masada (the expensive one, not the A&K). When I talked with the guys at AEX, they said that Masada is made by KWA. So if I do get it, it will be my money's worth.
Wrong. Magpul PTS Masada/ACR is made by ARES. Uses some of the same internal parts found in other ARES guns.
theres a new one [editline]13th January 2011[/editline] i think
theres a new one [editline]13th January 2011[/editline] i think
The only ones out there are: A&K Masada licensed by Magpul PTS and Magpul PTS Masada/ACR (made by ARES) It's not KWA. I've held KWA guns before and their plastics don't come anywhere near to the feel of the ACR. The ACR's plastic is similar feeling to ARES G36 line.
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=7521 so many OFFICIALLY LICENSED MAGPUL MASADAS OUT THERE

Because I've never held either.
Both look and feel great. Both work well enough, but I haven't really been keeping up to date with them and what other owners have gone through. They both take common gearbox parts so it's not like you can't fix it if it breaks.
Just keep in mind that it's probably really worth at least $40 less than they're selling it for due to licensing.

that'd look better w/o the 10 round mag
Everything else on that gun looks right until you look at the magazine.
Everything else on that gun looks right until you look at the magazine.
The same thought comes into my mind whenever I see it.
wait nvm im dumb
Everything else on that gun looks right until you look at the magazine.
The mag bothers me as well.
The KJ 10/22 would be sweet if the mag wasn't so small. Same with all 10/22s. I'd like a non-tacticool version though.
I'm the only who still thinks it's ugly as hell with or without that magazine?
venom you've obviously never met the goddess that is the 10/22

There are so many stock kits out there, you can make it look like anything from a VSS to an M249. The possibilities are almost endless with them. THe only problem is the KJW one costs about as much as a real blank one.
venom you've obviously never met the goddess that is the 10/22
uhm i'm okay with the ruger 10/22's just not with that much tacticalz on it
i wonder if that kj 10/22 could take real 10/22 kits
So I was like talking with my boss today, and like, asking if he could get me some SPLAV Flecktar-D camo and a pioner m23 chest rig, he said he's going to ask his clothes guy if he could get me some, if he does, I'll have my russian loadout for like, peanuts. That's uber awesome. Plus he's going to look at shot show if he could find some stuff I may use.

If your boss got some in, that would be pretty cool (even though I already got my Russian stuff). Tell him to get Partizan as well :)
Oh he's getting it for me and only me. I asked for flectar-d and pioner m23 cr and a red berret.
aw man :( Russian soldiers don't wear berets into battle btw, they consider it bad luck (in case you are planning on using it in a game).
Just before games mainly, and in-between. So is flectar-d and a pioneer m23 a good set anyway?
Just before games mainly, and in-between. So is flectar-d and a pioneer m23 a good set anyway?
Flectar-d looks effective as fuck, go for it.
flectar-d doesn't look TOO effective but hell KLMK works like porn so yeah.
Is Flectar-d for, you know, the special crowd? [sp]If you take out the '-', you get Flectard.[/sp]
