oh hi http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=245 [editline]18th January 2011[/editline] not my next airsoft purchase, fuck no
I like it. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] I'm not going to fuck around and stay on my next time I get some cash, I think i'm going to get myself some parts for my CM M4, as well as a knockoff brassgaurd. With the guidance of WolvesSoulz, i'm planning on getting some basic stuff to improve my range and accuracy: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1233 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6446 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=670 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5977
Oh. I thought that P226 was still your sidearm.
Well, it's gone from me forever.
Think I'm going to pick up an RRV. For now at least.
They're really good to be honest, I just wish they had packs/plates for the rear in ACU so I could get some more use out of them.
SAPI plates?
RRV's are technically plate carriers. The real ones, although I always had trouble finding them have option rear plate carriers with molle space, backpacks and hydration packs that can attach to the RRV. It's like a lightweight plate carrier option for most OPERATORS like myself. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline]

I rarely get shot in the back, and I don't have really anything to attach to it, other than the Level II carrier, but that's in ACU. I'll look, but as for now, it's not a priority on my gear list.
I want it because I want to carry a hydration pack and have a few pouches or storage space back there for things that I want to have handy but don't need taking up space. I'd get a Pantac one but they're $200 for a full set minus pouches.
Why not just buy a Camelbak (backpack version), then slip your RRV over that?
Not as secure as I'd like, bounces around because there is too much slack, just doesn't work, the rig won't fit over it you'll have to put the hydration pack over it which means it'll fall off and bounce around like crazy.
Hmm. I suppose that would be an issue. I have my 3 Day Assault Pack I could run with, but I really woudln't want to.
Maybe there is a way. I just have a really simple camel pack and nothing else to test the theory or any serious motivation to fix the problem yet. Since I'll be wearing my CIRAS in the Summer with a hydration carrier I don't see it as a massive problem yet. Also, I play speedsoft unfortunately.
Ah. Well, another option would be buying a Level II MOLLE pack you can strap to your back.
Yeah, I was actually looking at one and thinking it may work.
I was going to get one before I got the three day. I still may pick one up in the future. But at least with that, you'd have your hydration carrier, and extra storage.
3-Day Packs would be useless to me. The cold reality is I play speedsoft because that's the way the field is so I'd never need to carry huge amounts of ammo, food etc. Just maybe enough for another reload, water and a snack at most. Do you use your 3-Day Pack? Ahhh, I gotta stop looking at stuff. Once I make my list of "THINGS TO BUY" go back to '0' there is always something that comes back to be '1' and then '2' and so on until I have a list again.
I actually use it a lot more nowadays. I primarily use it to carry my airsoft items to and from the field, as a carry on at the airport, and for backpacking or climbing in the mountains (which was it's primary use back in end of May-middle of June last year). It holds a lot, and it's a bag you'd pack stuff in way more often than you think you would. I will say that the MOLLE Level II is far more practical in airsoft though, but that's more obvious. I've decided that if the PX4 every finds its way to my country (or if I find an affordable way to order it), I'll sell my P226 and buy the shit out of it. and go bwooooooooong whenever I hit anything
lol

If you really want a MOLLE equipped back, get one of those Condor Spec-Ops plate carriers and use half of it.
bought woodland Mechanix gloves off Airsoftgi as well as a Condor admin pouch for vest filler [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] probably going to buy goggles next... how are your guy's goggles in terms of fogging, comfort, and size?
I use a JT Delta 2 mask right now, it works well.

Try washing your goggles with dish soap, then defog them with moondog spray, that;s what I do.
