Ordered a heat shield, rail for the shell tube, and some shotgun cards for my shotguns. I plan on adding velcro to the side of my shotgun so I can slap the cards on. When its empty I can rip it off and toss on another. Since they're velcro I can slap them onto the front of my PACA. This for a real shotgun or your Tri-Shot? Because I didn't know you could burn through shells that fast with a Tri-Shot. Regardless that's a really, really cool idea.
Can you post a picture when you get the velcro strips in and how it looks on your PACA?
Where do you find velcro with adhesive that strong anyway? I can imagine pulling off the shotgun card and the piece of velcro on the shotgun coming off with it.
The adhesive is pretty strong on the real steel stuff. Hell, it has to hold up to the force of the recoil, so on an airsoft gun I think there won't be a problem.
I mean the velcro stickers you put on the gun. Not the cards themselves, although I'm not sure if that's what you meant because it's hard to explain.
Where do you find velcro with adhesive that strong anyway? I can imagine pulling off the shotgun card and the piece of velcro on the shotgun coming off with it.
The adhesive on the industrial velcro I have is tough as hell. They sell it at Lowes.
This is for the tri shot shotguns. I'll post the pics once I get it all in. Planning on attaching the strobe light to the rail with a pressure pad on the pump, making it the ultimate tool in fucking people up in room clearing. Going to be fun. I plan on just using some super glue and some industrial velcro from Home Depot. My friend just got his in and told me that's how he did it. Now do I put this on the M3 or M4 shotgun?
The adhesive on the industrial velcro I have is tough as hell. They sell it at Lowes.
Thanks for the info, I've been buying velcro from Wal-Mart for patches and what not but it's not strong enough.
Meant the velcro stickers, yeah. That stuff can get really strong, run into some really tough ones when messing with my school's camera equipment. [editline]28th February 2011[/editline] Damn ninjas.
Probably going to buy a G&P WOC Defender with my next paycheck (sights and foregrip don't come with it though) Should I? i can't find a whole lotta reviews on the WOC series
Getting a tan FSBE. Thinking of selling the Plate Carrier I've got (I prefer the FSBE, and since they're the same color I don't see the point of keeping both). I still need to fix my JG M4... and I'd really like to have an M16.
What are the differences between the FSBE and the CIRAS vests anyway?
What are the differences between the FSBE and the CIRAS vests anyway?
CIRAS vest is miles ahead, it has more molle real-estate, comes in different sizes, the Quick-Release cord-pull system is better (imo at least), and as for chinese versions, the CIRAS are harder to make thus better quality. Also there are two versions of the CIRAS, one with a cummerbund and one with an internal cummerbund (Land and Maritime) which offers more flexibility, although everyone I know prefers the maritime ciras because the cummerbund on the Land version sags a bit and is kinda wonky. I don't understand this forum's fascination with the FBSE replicas because I think they're ugly and look shoddy as hell. Still, I don't think too harshly of players with FSBE vests because it's better than a Crossdraw vest or whatever.
I'm only getting a FSBE instead of a CIRAS because I'm poor and it's a friend selling his vest so I can get it for cheap.
I'm only getting a FSBE instead of a CIRAS because I'm poor and it's a friend selling his vest so I can get it for cheap.
Perfect example of an okay reason to get one.
Thanks, I was looking at an RRV, I'm fucking short and I don't know if a CIRAS would even fit me.
Thanks, I was looking at an RRV, I'm fucking short and I don't know if a CIRAS would even fit me.
If you got a Small or Medium CIRAS I don't think it would be too bad, but to tell you the truth I've never owned one, my FAPC is adjustable, as are RRVs, so you can "set" the height. I suppose the biggest issue is how thick you are, I'm mid 16 years, around 55 kilos, and a tiny little FAPC barely cinches down far enough to fit, so don't be disappointed if your vest doesn't fit you because you aren't 30 or a fatass haha. I'd go with the RRV and move up to the CIRAS. And besides, a CIRAS isn't a very attractive option if you don't have a fuckton of gear to load it down with and go along side with it. I've seen people in woodland BDU's with stock China CIRAS knockoffs and it doesn't look much butter than an RRV. Tl;DR: Get the RRV. It's better for you.
Yeah, I guess I'll be getting an RRV with a MOLLE back to it or something.
So I ordered from CombatSportSupply last week (4 CA M14 midcaps and a antifog spray) and they still haven't shipped my stuff and suddenly I get this shit:
Hello Kill, This email has been sent to inform you that your order, #9595, has been updated to a status of Partially Shipped.

status of Partially Shipped

Partially Shipped

What the fuck is partially shipped
Something's backordered, they decided not to wait for the item to come in, so they sent you the non-backordered stuff.

It's barely an entire forum fascination. It's on the table for me because it's relatively cheap and compact compared to a CIRAS or something. I've had several dozen vests already myself. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline]
Yeah, I guess I'll be getting an RRV with a MOLLE back to it or something.
RRV's are incredible if you ask me. I wish there was some more room on the sides, but otherwise they're great. Back panels help but they're kind of expensive and a pain in the ass to find, although RSOV has a bunch that work with Condor Replicas.
EBay delivers. http://cgi.ebay.com/Airsoft-Molle-Canteen-Hydration-Combat-RRV-Vest-OD-/280637719231?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item41574fc2bf#ht_2032wt_905
Looks kind of shady. I'm not sure the quality will be anything write home about, the bib straps are too long and the rear plate carrier looks like it's not set up correctly.
Aww. But they even have CADPAT shit [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] I think maybe they just suck at pictures, http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Molle-Canteen-Hydration-Combat-RRV-Vest-CADPAT-Camo-/280624582779?pt=US_Men_s_Athletic_Apparel&hash=item415687507b [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] Then again, what EBay business from China doesn't look shady?
Get me some Danish camo and now we're talking

Shit's expensive, and they use MALICE clips AFAIK :v: I might get one in the far future though.
