I'd make a Canadian loadout as well but the Democratic Republic of Canadia doesn't like to share their C7 tri mount rail... :saddowns:
"Hmmm, Oh herp derp we nee something for our vests fellow Cunucks."
"Well, the Americans have ALICE clips and now they have MOLLE... But we need something uniquely Canadian."
"I've got it, we'll make MALICE! We'll combine them to make super Canadian hybrid gear."
"Brilliant. You're promoted to Colonel."
Someone on my team's forum wanted to buy a CF TV (http://cgi.ebay.ca/Cadpat-Canadian-Digital-Tactical-Vest-CF-Style-/150453424556?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item2307b911ac) but according to the people on my team who are actually in the CF, they're pretty shit.
Deathmog. Save your money and buy that. It's not that expensive.
But yeah, Military don't like them that much because they're all sewn pouches, M4 pouches are kind of tight and ride too high up and so on.
Airsoft though would be fine.

Speaking of Canada though I really want a RASP Sling. Only like $20 and it'll work for all my vests. MOLLE, IDF, Chestrigs etc. etc.
It'll work with all my guns, may even be the TAR 21 one-point sling I've been looking for.

lol, sorry if it's a stupid question, but are you talking about the canadian shit or the RRV?
My bad, it's just early in the morning, but i plan on getting the RRV sometime after I get CADPAT, I can deal with ALICE for a while.
The Canadian Vest. It's what I'd buy if I was in your position.

Tactical Collapsible Wash Basin. So Tactical it hurts.

I think i'll just get myself the OD RRV, so I have something to go with whatever I want, then I'll work on a proper canadian loadout later.
When you get rid of your RRV and get something better, I'll probably buy it off you if you want.
Yeah, I'll just have to see how much income i'll be getting over the next few months, and it depends on my plans for buying shit.
Shotgun cards came in today, off to go buy some velcro for the shotgun. The cards themselves stick to my PACA pretty well.

Get a shell bandolier :v:
Get a shell bandolier :v:
Not as efficient as shotgun cards. Plus I could easily hold more shells on the front of my PACA if I had enough cards than I could on a shell bandoleer.
Shotgun cards added to both my M3 and M4 shotguns.

PACA with shotgun card. When the card on the shotgun is empty, I just drop it in the dump pouch and toss a loaded card on.

I'm thinking about getting this for my first airsoft gun

I'm on a pretty low budget and I want to get a vest aswell, but I heard it was pretty good for the price.

You heard right.
Yeah it's pretty good for the cost. Not the nicest looking AK on the market, but for a budget gun it's alright.
Only other cheap package I could recommend is this. This gun will last you a long time and it's compatible with most aftermarket parts that the higher end guns use.

Combat Machines are great. I guess at this point it comes down too; do you want an AK or an M4?
I think i'll stick to the AK for now.
Is there anything I can do to make it look a bit better though?

if you want it to look better down the line then i would save for the full metal/wood version.
cheaper down the line.

atta boy!
Yeah you are better off getting full metal and wood, it is definitely worth it.
Why not get that now, then get a woodkit later?
Why not get that now, then get a woodkit later?
I've heard some pretty bad stuff about the wood kits not including the stock or are wobbly and misshapen, so I might stay away from those unless you guys can point me to a good set.
I've been looking around a bit and I also found this AK with real wood and metal for 200, only problem people have been having with it is the wood chipping a bit and wobbling some.
Wood chipping just makes it look cooler IMO.

For AK's CYMA or Dboys is your best bet, everyone here likes them.
I was gonna get a Dboy in the future

Hmm. Not sure what I really think of this. I'd like a Glock carbine kit for our new indoor CQB field, but at the same time, I don't think this would be as functional as a RONI or HERA kit.
Then add this to it:

Yeah, it looks a bit cartoonish now that you said that. I think I like the HERA kit better.
I'm buying four Glock mags on Saturday for $40. Marui ones too.
kind of want
[editline]3rd March 2011[/editline]
a glock carbine kit I mean
[img_thumb]http://www.airsoftpost.com/images/large/Kit_APS_Roni_BK_1_lg.jpg[/img_thumb]
I like pistol carbine kits well enough, but that looks to me like a SCAR fucked a blowtorch.
I kinda like it but thinking of how small the stock will be makes me :flaccid:

Looks like it adjusts to a pretty decent length.
