Ability to mount sights, foregrip, and having a little bit more stability when you're aiming. It's a good idea, kind of cool to have so many choices around now instead of only the FPG.

Oh yeah, I read that. Mine is the same way. It's a large-long, and the sleeves reach the middle of my hands.
As for the kits.
The RONI kit actually looks similar to the kit above:

Yeah, the FPG needed a slide off of a donor G18C, not a G17. I'd also worry about opening it and having the magazine slide across the floor like in one of Ender's videos. Didn't his mag catch wear down ridiculously fast too?

Yeah, that was thanks to the drop onto the concrete floor IIRC. Cool that there's the full kit without needing the donor slide, but those issues justify me not wanting an FPG.

My friend keeps telling me to be careful with CYMAs because they're all clones but I don't see a problem with their AKs.
But i'm probably going to end up with the real wood and metal one for around 200 or so.

Pff, don't listen to your friend. With that mindset, all guns besides TM's are clones since TM created the gearbox. I've been using a 'clone' Dboys AK for a year now and it's been great, I'm hard it it too.
My next purchase is going to be a BULLE ACU Interceptor OTV, providing I can make sure that it will fit me
