So, this is how my next 3 months is going to play out. After ordering my brassgaurd sometime this month, I'll be saving money for some CADPAT. Afterwords, i'll be spending my money on a mixture of upgrade parts for my CM, money in case an OP comes by, and get some money for an RRV. So, in order, it'l be: Brassgaurd CADPAT RRV Upgrade Parts Mags/Batteries Then, by then, hopefully it'l be june, at which point it'l be my birthday. For my birthday, i'm hoping for a copy of Adobe Premier Elements, and a shiny GoPro setup, and my twin brother may have a pool party, at which point that's a possible 300 dollar increase in my budget. This means KWA G36C, and since i'll be working in the summer, i'll get mags and batteries up the ass, some MOLLE gear here and there and maybe a KWA Mark-something pistol. That's pretty much all I have planned out for summer.

I am soon to get: Iron face Goggles for said iron face OD vest that I forgot the name of Serpa holster Black boots All in OD except black boots, because I'm black and green.

Okay so: Authentic JGSDF Cammies JGSDF Flak Jacket OD Mask OD Ball Cap OD Serpa (Maybe black) for 23 or 17 I can't decide.

Is a shotgun worth it?

People do use them and make it work, don't get me wrong, but an AEG will always be 90% more practical than any other weapon you can think of. If you take fun into account, then by all means go for it, they are fun, that's for sure. Just don't expect to dominate the field with one.

They can be very effective actually. But they're limited to a CQB setting. Just like in real life shotguns are kind of limited to very specific tactical applications of powers. Fewer in Airsoft since there are no Airsoft Slugs or Breaching Shotguns.

But there are gas shotguns.

I'm not sure if they still do, as it was a few years ago and Clarence doesn't really keep any of that stuff going for very long, but I know that they've existed at some point. Also I don't mean that you shouldn't get a shotgun, so I guess I should change that to "as long as you have another gun".

But what I mean there are not practical, skirmish-ready shotgun slugs. All the slugs on the market are shell ejecting and prone to getting lost.
