Tanaka costs twice as much... What do you think?

HOLY FUCK VFC REBRAND!!! :buddy: :fh:
I've never played airsoft before, but I think it's about time..I feel an itch for some adrenaline action!
Keep in mind, I don't know the various brands well enough to know what sucks and what doesn't, but based on the reviews from the videos, this is the selection I got:
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5633 with
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=36_117&products_id=5983 and

attached..
I'm also considering
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2007 and possibly
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5875 if it's the right one for the above gun.

I couldn't find a flashlight rail mount for this one. CAN a flashlight be fitted onto this MK5?
As for sidearm, I love the M9 in real life, so the choice sort of came natural:

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=36_118&products_id=5450
This is my "basic" selection. I have a few more items on the list, such as a shotgun, sniper rifle and the CA M249 Para, which will probably be added to my arsenal later on :v:
Again, I don't have any idea what brands is good, and what I should stay away from.. same goes for batteries and mags..
Edit: Forgot to ask this.. how the hell can I get hold of these guns without the damn red tip? I know it's illegal in the US, but I live in Norway where it isn't illegal!
Does ASGI ship out of the US? I don't remember but if you buy from ASGI it will probably come with a red tip since its a major seller out in the US.
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. However, I'm not limiting my shopping to ASGI. I just browsed their shop because of the amount of stuff they have. If anyone know where I can get the above stuff anywhere else without the red tip, I'd be glad to know. I have looked at other shops and tried Google, but it's a needle in a haystack..
It's not like the red tip is hard to remove. Just use some paint thinner or nail polish remover and soak it, most of the time it comes off. KWA on the other hand has almost like a thick crust of paint, which can be chipped off, but it's easier just to buy another $10 flash hider. Another $10 isn't much compared to all the stuff you plan on buying, you're starting off a hell of a lot better equipped than most of us here when we started.
As for a flashlight mount for the MP5SD6, there is a scope mount for it that features both a top rail and a side rail. I had one that came with my first gun, a UTG MP5. Unfortunately I don't know of anyone who sells them individually. I think it would look sort of weird though. Your other option is to get a standard MP5 and just buy the CA foregrip with tac light. I got a CA MP5A4 with the tac light foregrip and it works great.
Other than that, great choices.

Depends. I live in Finland. The price isn't exactly the same.
Just wondering which one is better quality.
I still need help on the parts for the Aug. Right now it looks like this:
Inner barrel
Hop up
Bucking
Spring
The rest is pretty much irrelevant. 5 110 rds mags for it and a molle belt with pouches for the mags.
I just got the Silverback P90 mid cap in the mail on a Saturday for some reason. Anyhow...
FUCKING AWESOME!
The reported problem with the Amp midcaps is that they would load about 50 BBs and then there would be too much tension on the spring to allow anymore inside. Not with the Silverbacks. I literally counted out 150 BBs and every single one could be loaded. The spring behind it is strong too, I pressed the mag release and a shower of .2's came out. Also the more you shoot the faster it feeds.
The mag itself is solid black, not transparent. This can be both a Pro and Con depending on who you are. The very first thing I noticed when I opened it was a little wobble from a separate piece on the circular end of the mag. The body plasitc also has a slight creak when you grip it, but overall it feels solid.
Pros:
-Fits and feeds all 150 BBs as advertised
-Looks nice in the P90
-Trademarks on the side. They say "MOD. P90 50-ROUND MAGAZINE-2001-RESTRICTED LAW ENFORCEMENT/GOVERMENT USE ONLY". It also says "5.7 X 28" right in front of the feeding port.
Cons:
-Little Pricey
-A minute amount of Wobble
I recommend them.
Note: After about 70 BBs the spring becomes a lot more tense. If you have a Tokyo Marui like me, use the Ram rod that came with it since it gives you a lot more leverage. If your P90 has no ram rod, use a quality speed loader and have a strong thumb.
So I did an estimate on the grand total of everything I am thinking about buying, and I'm approaching $4500 + shipping and taxes.. I think I should reconsider the whole airsoft-deal, it hurts even before I get shot at. :v:

How bout starting with just a single base gun with no extras on it for starters? That will cut the price down a lot. I only spent maybe $400 for my first skirmish loadout.

You don't really need all the stuff on your list, atleast not all at once.
Also, I personally would never pay $170 for a gas pistol unless it was fully automatic like the M93r. Though I have never had a KWA product so it might be incredibly nice, I don't really know.
Yeah, I know I don't need all of it at once, it's just an estimate of the total on the stuff I want. I'm gonna start with the M4 and Beretta, perhaps a basic BDU and take it from there. :)
Any recommended sites for shopping BDU's?
uscav.com
i would suggest checking local surplus stores first. you can find much better deals there then what you might online. although they may not have all the latest stuff
In the near future, I'm buying a KWA KM4 assault rifle. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should go for a 3-9x4 Mil-Dot Tactical Scope, or a Hurricane 552 Holo Sight. Later on I will have both of them (for different guns), but I wonder which is best to start with? Anyone with an M4/M16 that can give some input?
It's all preference.
For longer range play, go with the 3x scope. For CQB, or dense woods, Eotech. Personally I use Red dots, EoTechs, and Aimpoints more than 3x scopes, but there are times where a 2x magnifier would come in handy.

Hey, agm full metal scar from asgi or d-boy scar from asgi the 10 dollar difference doesn't matter too much but I don't know which is better, and the agm comes with more so meh.
Haven't really heard much about the AGM, but then I haven't been keeping up to date on clone guns either. I'd recommend heading over to Airsoft Retreat and see what they're saying about it.
Thank you oh wise ender, knower of all things airsoft.
Once my parents 'hopefully' retire to Cornwall, my first aim will be to get a Jing Gong Vz.61. It'll be two-toned though since it'll be my first.

Sounding more like January now. I think they wanted to officially release it at the 2010 SHOT show in January.

EB Aimpoint M4 Red/Green Dot Scope
http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=480_98_494&products_id=4070
I might get that but ASGI doesn't have any good ones, AEX has one.
Any good or bad accusations? Or maybe a different Aimpoint Scope.
