I got the Aimpoint from AEX. Works well and it's a solid piece of equipment. Had mine for over 4 years and still works great.

Well then good enough for me, i was looking at the Matrix Aimpoint review off Youtube, but i rather buy from AEX then evike.
You might look into getting a killflash for it later on. I had mine shot out, but luckily they got 2 layers of glass in the front. Still, it's a worthy investment if you plan on using it for CQB or any close range stuff.

Actually not getting it from amazon. Getting it from a local airsoft store for about $68. But yeah the gun looks real nice and I'm really excited to use it.

I only get TSD Tactical High Polish .2g bbs from a local guy. $15 for 5k, not so bad. I made that mistake for my first gun. Got biodegradeable .2g BBs for a g36c, Echo 1. For the first week I was pissed cause it was jammed with one BB. I then went on and gave them to a friend for use in a shitty spring pistol.

TSD .20's 5k bags are generally 11-15$ so yeah not bad.

Another question. A friend says not to get see through BBs because they are apparently softer and can collapse in the barrel? Is this true or some bullshit?
I just go by the company, like KSC/Airsoft Elite/Tokyo Marui/Madbull/Excel are the only companies I'll typically buy from for BBs. (By the way, none of those companies make clear BBs)

TM make kickass GBB pistols, plastic or not. I have no experience with their 5x7 but I have owned they're desert eagle, 1911a1, and m9 and I can say, I've never owned a more reliable gas gun.

We found the Airsoft Extreme store about 30 minutes away but my parents basically said "No this is a good starter, we're not taking you back to the other store for a while, try it out first"
For $90 more I could've gotten the CA full metal m4, and for $40 more their normal plastic M4 (of which AEX had none left). So I just said "Fuck it, better than nothing".
Definitely not happy with it though, considering what I could've gotten.
I had that gun until the stock broke, its pretty good
