Nice. I was thinking of getting one of those but I don't think it would be practical for skirmishing. Its cool no doubt but the price isn't worth it IMO.

The price is worth it when you have enough practical stuff like I do. This would have come in handy during the last 2 pistol rounds we had at CQB City today. Had 3 pistols on me and went through 9 mags in a little under 10 minutes. Unfortunately I bought the FPG after the game. Now time to find some more Glock hicaps. Hmm, just found an issue. The plate on the bottom of my standard mags makes it so it won't fit into the grip of the gun. The FPG kit comes with only a single thin replacement plate. So I either have to shave down my current plates, or shave a couple of centimeters off the bottom of the grip. Or have some new ones made on a 3D printer.

I would just shave down the plates. Or even if you have to you probably could just buy new plates.

Do you only need a slide and a mag to get those to work? Or do you need more than that?

All you need is the slide and the mag. The kit gives your a number of internal parts you need to replace in the Glock slide. As for spare plates, I don't think Magpul sells them yet, or if they have plans to. I'll ask next time I'm at AEX and see if they know anything.

I've heard that it won't, but surely as they're the same size they'd fit right? Also the plates are "coming soon" apparently. Bad move. :(

Glock 17 slides are the same size as Glock 18 slides, no reason I could think of why it wouldn't fit. Hell the manual says it's made for G17/G18's.

Decided it would be a better idea to fix up my old KJW M9 and just get replacement mags rather than pick up the WE-Tech Hi-Capa I had my eye on. Also need to get a new slide, the old ABS one doesn't stick after the last shot anymore.

At my local field The blued version (stock and stockless) are already being used, so I got the chrome and wood version. Anyone know where I can get a chrome heat shield? The real thing works with the gun so anything would be helpful.

Picking up an Action Larue 11 inch rail from a local who doesn't want that specific rail. Never been used and it's only $85. Figured since my 7 inch URX rail is a bit too short for me to comfortably place my AFG and tac light together I'd buy a longer rail. This summer going to finish my spring VSR for the fall and maybe start and hopefully finish a KJW M700 [b]VSR[/b] AirsoftGI PE Piston AirsoftGI PE Spring Guide AirsoftGI PE Searset Laylax M150 Looking at around 140$ for all of that. going for the airsoft set because after recent reviews of them and the Airsoft GI top tech challange of building a VSR they can preform just as good as polar star (besides the sears, Polar star sears are unbreakable to date with even the strongest springs). Already have a king arms bucking and DBC 6.01 in it so no worrys there [b]M700[/b] KJW M700 Edgi 6.01 for M700 Tanaka M700 29rd mag King arms bucking Aiming around 350$ for all of that, need to pickup a scope as well. Once i finish this it most likely will be my Spring,Summer,Fall gun.

Next purchase will be a WE Scar with five extra green gas magazines. I'll have it in about a month. I LOVE WORKING FOR MONEY.
