If you really wanna live in an airsoft wonderland, go to Texas.
Texas is an airsofters dream. A shitload of fields, the only downfall is that there are few CQB places and most of the fields are more than an hour away (a few are three).
texas is like the heaven for any type of gun owner

I made your avatar transparent ok
Oh okay thanks.
Just picked up a MICH 2001 in tan from AEX today, along with a replacement ESS goggle lens. The helmet comes with a small rail you can slide onto the sides of the helmet. I've attached my tac light to it with a remote pressure switch. The idea is to flick on the strobe before I enter a room and really screw peoples eyes up in CQB. I'll also be making a helmet camera mount that slides into the NVG mount later on.

This man makes warfare dirty.
I also use lasers to keep snipers heads down. Shine them in the eyes and they go into hiding. Works great for covering my teams advance and I don't even have to fire a shot. The owner of the CQB field doesn't like me doing that, but the fact of the matter is a 5mw laser isn't going to do any damage to your eyes.
Lol. Lasers are bad for eyes.

Actually a 5mW laser can cause damage faster than the human eye can blink, and permanant damage over a longer period. I would really avoid doing that.

So If my laser is 5w I could burn holes in people? Cool.
Maybe shine it in their scope? Would that do any less damage?

To the eye I mean.
You need at least a 1W laser to burn holes in people :v:
Maybe shine it in their scope? Would that do any less damage?
That would make it worse actually. I would assume anyway, since a scope magnifies.
Yeah, shining the laser through a scope would really make it worse.
wouldnt that make it sort of 'better'? because the magnification ona scope works one way thats why you dont see the classic cartoon massive eye effect when you look at a sniper aiming (inverted commas on better since a laser to the eye is never good)
But it's the reverse, because it's coming in the opposite end.
aaah i get you now its just ive been watching videos on continuity errors in films (yes im that sad) and the one about the sniper battle in the hurt locker came up
Yeah the Hurt Locker was awesome, except for the part when most of what happens in the movie would never happen in real life.

Please tell me you're joking.
yeah i feel a right nerd watching the bit where he pulls six bombs up from a string... thats not physically possible since the suit weighs 60kg i think and the bombs they used were 20kg each. also is it just me or was it the same type of bomb at every mission?
Those were Soviet era artillery shells, they aren't that heavy. You can lace six bombs together using Detcord. It's possible. All you have to do is remove the blasting cap.
It is physically possible to do what he did. That's why E.O.D. is so selective in picking its members. You have to be physically and emotionally strong to do the job.
thank god im not the only one who thinks about this stuff haha

yeah ok "GUYS IM GONNA TAKE MY BOMB SUIT OFF K?"

First, he can take off his bomb suit. That's his choice to wear it or not. Just like using the robot, it's their choice. Here's the thing. When you do something stupid like that, you are putting your team at risk. You have to think about their lives, and how doing this action could affect them.
Second, you can deploy smoke. It's not a lethal weapon.
Now the third one I'm skeptical about. I'm pretty sure you can get NJP'd for that, but not dismissed. [sp]And that kid didn't die. He was near the end of the movie at the camp.[/sp]
