Please tell me you're joking.
Especially towards the end, when the guy with [sp]bombs strapped to him pops up[/sp]. The military would have shot him dead on site no questions. I know all this about that movie in particular because my sisters boyfriend is in the army and told me about all the bullshit in that movie.
thank god im not the only one who thinks about this stuff haha
Trust me, you aren't. I watched this movie so many times noticing different things.

I had a friend who came back from Iraq in November, and he worked an E.O.D. unit. The Army wouldn't have shot him dead, because they knew the techniques used by insurgents. You can't just shoot a man dead because he was kidnapped and rigged, not to mention that bomb is still active. If there's a chance to help, they have to take it.

I ALWAYS do this for any realistic movie I watch. I always think about how they hold their weapons and what stance they are in and how the bullet physics would actually work and military protocol and stuff. I think it drives me insane :aaaaa:
First, he can take off his bomb suit. That's his choice to wear it or not. Just like using the robot, it's their choice. Here's the thing. When you do something stupid like that, you are putting your team at risk. You have to think about their lives, and how doing this action could affect them.
Second, you can deploy smoke. It's not a lethal weapon.
Now the third one I'm skeptical about. I'm pretty sure you can get NJP'd for that, but not dismissed. [sp]And that kid didn't die. He was near the end of the movie at the camp.[/sp]
First yeah sure i guess
Second not when you are using it to not let your team have eyes on you
Third you would def have a hard time after doing that, because people would be watching you a lot closer.
Guys you're forgetting one thing...
It's Hollywood, realism and s&*t goes out the window

Well, my sisters boyfriend said that because he was told that they would have to shoot him. Oh well v:v:v

This, fucking this.

No matter what, the main character (forget his name) would have been discharged in a heart beat after his antics, maybe not even honorably.

A friend of mine was a ranger, and they were taking some woman wired with explosives somewhere, when she reached for her detonator his SGT bashed her head in with the stock of his gun, resulting in "jaw through face" syndrome.
Then they had to mercy-kill her.
:frown:
It's a shame shit like this happens.
The part about people getting brainwashed into blowing themselves up, not our boys defending themselves.

I wonder if he popped the smoke to make them more observant. I know that sounds weird, but James had his own set of tests.

Yeah, they could shoot if there was a detonator on him. That guy would've gotten shot as soon as he put his hands down anyway. It's not like it would have mattered.

That, and that lame ass Call of Duty reference to the AC-130. Ugh.
I still liked A-Team, once I got used to the bullshit it was funny.

That was actually pretty genius.

theres been a masterkey this whole time?
[editline]05:35PM[/editline]
fuck my automerge
Would be awesome to have a masterkey. A tri shot master key would be great because you could use it in a pinch in close quarters.

The only problem i think would be the pump. The pump on tri-shots is pretty heavy, you wouldn't be able to use it in a pinch more than once unless the mounts on the gun were really tough and you were used to the really hard pump already.
And about my masterkey... Yeah, I made it and then I sold it forgetting about you guys...

Yeah thats what I was thinking, a one shot deal and you would have to reinforce it like crazy.

What about your VSS?
What about your VSS?
I still have that and I've made more progress like taking off the rear site and WELDING (whatever that one electricity teacher guy one it) the new parts of the body on.
Pics?
Pics?
I dropped my camera yesterday shortly after taking that pic of Ol' Painless. It will take a pic but it will look distorted and you probably wouldn't be able to tell what it is.
I'm going to get Airsoft GI's newest battery;
