You get paid for views, ad revenue, etc. You need hundreds of subscribers though.
make boxxy parody, instant subscribers
I want to make quality videos though. Something that people enjoy watching. I am working on a new video though. It's an airsoft commercial, modeled after the new Old Spice commercials. "Look at my gun, now back at yours, now back at mine..." and so on and so forth.
I've got like.. 17 subscribers. :saddowns: Most of em are my IRL friends too. My channel is p. rad though.
You normally get a message asking if you want to submit your video for revenue sharing. This normally means your video has close to or around 10,000 views I think. You add a description of your video and agree you didn't use any copyrighted material and submit it. This is why you don't hear music in most of my vids, because it would disqualify me from ad sharing. You then have to setup a google AdSense account and link it with your bank account. They then go through a series of bank checks to make sure it's legit. They do this by sending you a couple of cents and you reply back with how much they sent you to verify it. After that you get paid based on how many views you get and number of ad clicks. I only get an average of 3 clicks per day, but and average of 1600 views a day. Avg earnings per day since my last payment is $0.76. Since my last payment on 6/1/10, I've earned $58, earned it a lot faster than I did the first time around. It's complicated to setup, but worth it afterwards. Used that first payment for more gear.
So wait, if I click your ads, you get more money?
Don't tell anyone I told you, but yes.
Well then, each time I view your videos I'll click the ads a couple times. But that means you gotta keep uploading cool vids. :buddy: Also, you mentioned something about video size problems? Have you tried MPEG-2 format? It seems to be p. good quality, and it's what I upload all my videos on. <--
I have like 300 subs on my airsoft channel I think. Haven't made a video in a year or so. I still get people asking when I'll review my Kalash haha.
Omg, you're Canadian too?

I thought of it like, four weeks ago. Never really did anything with it though. lol
Omg, do it. I sub'd to you, I better see you in an Old-Spice commercial soon or I'll steal your starbucks shit.
Could always make videos like this: I gotta take classes on particle effects and Aftereffects now. This just seems like so much fun to make.
Omg, you're Canadian too?
yeah bro. Where you from?
Do it.

I will shank you in the face! I said that and some guy laughed his nuts off.

My friend is going to buy a camera soon, and we're hopefully going to make a cool action short with airsoft guns. Also freddiew is fucking awesome, I've been following his videos for a long time.
yeah bro. Where you from?
Livin in Calgary, Alberta right now, not much going on airsoft-wise, although it's slowly building up.
Livin in Calgary, Alberta right now, not much going on airsoft-wise, although it's slowly building up.
Yeah Calgary is pretty decent. Are you 18+? I'm in one of the best places in the country, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Toronto is probably the best though due to the fact that theres way more people there (especially asians and asians looove airsoft).

I used to play a shitload of paintball, landed a couple runner-up wins in tournaments and stuff, but it got really expensive. So I upgraded to airsoft.
Have you tried MPEG-2 format? It seems to be p. good quality, and it's what I upload all my videos on.
Unfortunately I can't render in MPEG-2, but I can render in MPEG-4 and H.264.

I helped found a group for underage airsoft, we've been getting grief from the MAA and a few other big teams cause we use pyro alot and all that, but in a year we have about 40 players which makes us the largest team in the province.

I use PowerDirector because it's pretty simple, and renders in a shitload of different formats. All the fields here allow under 18, as long as you get a waiver signed and wear full-face protection. Neither of which I have a problem with.

It's not hard to find underage people that will be committed to coming out to games, it worked very well for us!

"Capture the Bacon" Your objective is to capture the enemy bacon while protecting your own. Bacon will be in the process of cooking.
Can't attack the enemy immeditely or the bacon will be raw Can't wait too long or it will be burnt.
