Ok, cause I'm buying the Plastica, which is the same material, and I didn't want something too light.
The Plastica series have damn sturdy bodies. The weight won't be the same as if you were using a metal-bodied AEG, but it feels solid and it can take a beating.

Neither, having a bolt action puts you at a serious disadvantage. If you want to snipe just get an AEG and upgrade it so you can still go full auto if you get in a sticky situation.
Plus, the SVD is sexier.

I've been trying to convince him, if he doesn't want to choose anything but the A&K SVD, that he should at least get a real POSP for the [I]whole extra[/I] $60-90. I've heard the AMP PSO-1 clone is a real piece of crap.
The POSP one is $250, and the AMP PSO-1 with the deal is only $120 so that's a big difference that doesn't seem worth it.
$150-200 + shipping, which will be $40 it seems from Russia. If you committed to it you could find a seller in the states.
