You should run into battle with a Koran as well, just hold it above your head while detonating your claymore.

i dont have one its just that its cheaper and it has a somewhat same chance to break as any other scope. I was speculating it might give some kind of resistance to dropping.

I had one and loved it. Fantastic sidearm/close quarters backup weapon. And surprisingly accurate for its size.

*whew* I thought everyone here would be like "eww dats ugly and stoopid get an m4 noob" like they do when someone mentions a tacticool ak-47 variant. But my other question is, is this better than getting an MP5? It's about $60 less for the M4 and I could mod it to death with lasers and crap.

My old one broke (my own fault I think, can't remember because it broke so long ago). After that I'm considering either an RPK conversion kit for my AK47 (to go with the drum mag), or a GP30 gas grenade launcher.

They're fricken fun as hell to shoot, pretty poor accuracy on fully auto, but they kick like a mule for an airsoft gun. My friend has the AK74U.

1. Make sure you dont get a gen.1 GHK AK74 it will blow up in your face
2. Classics are better then gas guns since you don't need to fill each mag and spend 60$ a mag. Classic guns use AEG mags only difference is Classic's use an air tank.

Classics are good and all, but I dislike them for a few reasons:

-They are fucking expensive
-Remote hoses make me feel like a paintballer
-They are pretty difficult to find

Not all classics take TM compatible mags either, in fact most don't.

Look through this site here. This guy shows up at the Fort Ord games with his classic guns. Damn they are impressive. Loads of recoil and high rate of fire. The forums offer you a lot of info on classic airsoft guns and all the stuff you need to know before deciding to buy one.

So I've decided to get an mp5, particularly one with a full stock and a flashlight built into the fore-grip. Anyone know of any good brands that make these and cost less that $200?

CA makes one, but that's $250. I own one and it's not a bad gun, hefty little gun though. I think mine may have been a lemon though, as I'm hearing a very loud springy noise when I shoot it, probably something loose or broken.

I don't know of anyone else who makes one with the flashlight included for under $200. I think JG had one when they first started, but they don't sell them anymore, the flashlight in that one was crap anyways.

You could get the G&G Plastic MP5 for $170 and try to find an aftermarket lighted handguard later. CA sells them, but they're $70-$90 depending on the model. There may be some chinese copies for $30-$40, but don't expect the material or light to be any good.
