How the hell do you break one of those things? The only thing that's ever broken on mine is the rear sight. I've dropped it into sand once with the slide open, got sand in it, I picked it up, blew it out and it kept on firing. It actually shot out all the sand back at me.

Honestly, I'd still get an AKS-74 over the Tavor. I don't like them at all.
It'd be nice to have both, but I don't have that kind of money. Plus, lots of people have AKs. Maybe not as much as M4s, but still they're common. How many people do you see with a TAR-21? None.
Tavors are ugly as dinoflauge.
I'd probably take a Tavor over another AK. The only problem is that it's ARES and they're iffy.

Can't you repair the tabs?
Seems awfully expensive to get a whole new gun.
The tabs are plastic. Once they've snapped that's it. Getting replacement parts is out of the questions unless I can find a broken DE M1014 for sale.
And $45 for a new shotgun is dirt cheap compared to other stuff I buy.

Well if he found a part he could fix, then a new gun wouldn't be necessary. But I can't really answer because I've never owned a shotgun before.
I wish I could get a hold of those Pea-Grenades they have but they're near impossible for the average consumer to buy from overseas. They're about $6 each and there is a flat rate of $35 hazardous shipping fee, not including shipping and depending on how many grenades are in a box (You can only order packs) it'll cost you a ton. For a single person to buy disposable grenades, it's not worth it.

I was thinking it might be something more like the M500.
I heard that you could swap out the tabs on those with the real-steel version so you didn't really have to worry as much about them breaking.
I don't get why people like glocks so much, although I really like the M&P 40 which is basically a glock clone.
