CIRAS additional protective pads came in today. Have to admit I'm liking the wider shoulder strap pads. Downside is I can't use them with the neck guard at the same time. Shoulder pads are alright, but I'm not sure how often I'll use them. Groin pad has two buckles on them to attach to the bottom of the CIRAS. Problem is, my CIRAS doesn't have buckles down there. Guess I'll have to sew some on. I'll have pictures later.

My friend bought one of those a while back, still waiting for his to be delivered. Right now I'm machining a barrel extension for it so he can run a longer inner barrel through it. He's making it his primary for CQB games. Now if it was compatible with Hicapas I'd seriously consider picking one up.

HERA kits are better looking. I just wish they had an OD version instead of just Tan and black.

That is a HERA kit, just for 1911s. But yeah, the Glock one is better looking.

I like the 1911 kit more, maybe it has to do with the AR buffer tube and stock. Hmm, wonder what a UBR would look like on there.

The AR Buffer tube and stock is exactly the reason I dislike it.

I actually like the buffer tube/stock. I might get one of those later on, mainly because the 1911 is cheaper and easier to find.

Personally, I'd just work on making it like the one picture above. an AFG, and maybe a different type of Magpul stock.

I have a very small christmas list and none of it is airsoft related. I basically only asked for a couple band shirts, The Pacific on blu ray and money. Does anybody make airsoft M1 Garands?

Marushin does.

Only shoots 8mm bbs though at an FPS way too high for field use. But other than that they're fun to shoot, was lucky enough to try one out. Though I find the WE M14 much more practical to use, seems to kick harder too.

Do you know the FPS?

Like 450+.

Daaamn it'd be nice if it just sort of hovered around the 350-400 range, is that even possible?

I have no idea how GBBRs work.
