Reliance on medicine for a fever that low is fucking idiotic. I can't understand how people just assume that medicine fixes everything, it doesn't and it just lowers the strength of your immune system if you rely on them for something as little as that.

That's illegal, here in the UK it is anyway, my dad has had to go off sick for a couple of months and by law they have to pay you full pay for 6 months, but if they fired him now they would be legible for suing.

I had a horrible stomach bug, but my 'boss' was real bitchy about getting me into work (I say 'boss' because she wasn't the actualy boss, she was the sister of the guy who owned the place; HE was sick for 2 weeks).
After getting an earful of bitchy attitude, i decided it would be less trouble to go to work; if i vomited even better, i got to leave.
So after drving for an hour though rushhour traffic (I live in kansas, people around here drive like its the fucking apocalypse).
I walk in the door, shes there waiting for me, she starts to say "Well [i]THANK[/i] you for coming!" In her usual acidic sassy tone; just before she gets mid-sentence i lean over and BLAUGUGHH all over the floor. Best part was she had to clean it up, I just told her I was too sick and left.

100F might not be much, but remember, the temperature at which a fever is life-threatening (from brain damage to possible death) is around 108-110F. The human body doesn't need a lot of bodily temperature variation for harm.
