I had to drive down past Glasgow the other day. 30 days of rain fell on the motorway in 24 hours, it wasn't so much driving as sailing through a storm with lightning directly overhead.

Yeah I had to take my dog into town to get his haircut so I went to the ICC (shopping centre) and I went upstairs to wash my hand (not going to say why) and well these two kids jumped when I turned the tap on and there was a wall so all I could see was one of the boys back and he was crouching they both come out and look who it is. The one which was not crouching had his belt undone. Anyways they go back to the urinals and I heard them mumbling like "Is he gone?" and they kept checking if I left.

Be egomaniacal, muahahah.
Easier said than done, but try to act and think positive. Be kind to random strangers, smile at them don't make a creepy smile (unless you feel like making them paranoid, which can be fun too if you like it) and make them try to smile back as you walk past them. Think about your life. Set small goals, nothing simple, like "tomorrow I will go for a 10minute walk" and after you come back home you can think that you have done something different today and thus completed a task in your life. Make goals in your life, then it is much easier to go forward.
You could try doing small changes in your appearance, cut/style your hair, maybe color it? Buy/grab some new neat clothes and put them on. Make yourself look at the mirror and think "damn, I look better than yesterday". I got a huge boost in my self-confidence when I changed my wardrobe and started grooming myself as I came out as trans to everyone. I worked for me.
