My dad's jaw is made of stone. He just had his last wisdom tooth pulled (he's 65) recently and the doctor had to try four times before he could get that one tooth out. The doctor said he'd never seen anything like it, and my dad didn't take any painkillers and he only complained about mild pain for a week.
Then again, I think something might be wrong with his nervous system, since he says 'ow' when his hair gets pulled off his arm and he doesn't feel a thing when a piece of glass went an inch-deep into his hand.
