Guys, guys guys! I basically just came out to my best friend, we took a long walk, talking and shit and I just straight up said, I dig guys. No big scene or anything, we not only had a good laugh, he even admitted to feel the same way about men. We proceeded to talk some more and shit, the suspicion of us having been separated at birth could never have been more obvious. We both very much swing both ways and it only helped our friendship grow even more. Feeling great, man! We traded super secret socially unforgivable links.

So I just got back from seeing Moonrise Kingdom with a dear friend. It was quite honestly beautiful, and I don't say that for most films. It's quirky nature was backed up with such sincerity that it just soared in terms of resonation. I await being able to watch it a second time - Wes Anderson usually puts a bit more behind his films than what's on the visceral level, which is only what I was able to appreciate watching it. Watching the interplay between the two leads and the adults trying to understand was just art in motion.
