Recommend it?[/QUOTE]Everyone that I know who has it, loves it. It's a turn-based empire-creating game. You can choose what civilization you want to be and expand that empire. Create cities, units, buildings, go to war with a nearby civilization that's stealing your resources. With Gods and Kings expansion (highly recommended) it adds a bunch of new features and makes the experience just that much more polished. Things like religion (yes, you can found your own religion, spread it, get bonuses based on civilizations that have it), new units, new civilizations and new structures. All in all, it's a really fun game. You better have some time, though. Normal games will be at least 12 hours of playing, but you're able to save and resume later. World generation is random and you can choose about 30 different options.
The game is only $7.50 (and may be cheaper, this time) on sale so there's no reason why you shouldn't get it. If you like the base game, grab Gods and Kings expansion.

Wait, where is it only $7.50? I've been meaning to get the game for a while and most places list it as being about $30 and $50 including the DLC (not Gods and Kings).
