I want a kitten but I don't want it to grow up, adult cats are boring.
Adult cats are awesome, they are the perfect metaphor for your useless nihilistic existence if you're into that
I wish to be reborn a cat when I die. I'd be a good cat :3
Speaking of reincarnation, I think it would suck.
Speaking of reincarnation, I think it would suck.
Reincarnation is usually linked with your karma. Good karma, good reincarnation.
Buddhist reincarnation is the way to go. You get all your wisdom from this life carried over to the next until you reach full wisdom, and enlightenment (Nirvana).
Hindu reincarnation however, is this shitty karma-points system. It sucks.
i wish to be reborn as a blade of grass near the 18th hole on a golf course.
I want to be reincarnated as a bird so I no longer have to sit between a fat dude and some crazy old lady for 6 hours every time I want to fly somewhere. :v:

Wouldn't it vicious cycle though? If you're really really good in one life, you get reincarnated as a spoiled New Yorker with an amazing life as your reward, but as a result of your lifestyle you lead a bad life so you're reincarnated as a 12th century French peasant girl who gets dysentry when she's 8, but because you died so young you lead a pious life, so you're reincarnated as a prince in Bavaria, but then you lead a bad life, so you're reincarnated as a sheep, so then you lead a good life etc etc

This is why Buddhist reincarnation is better.
Did anyone get the THQ pack? Saints Row + 15 other cool games for $10 more than saints row is pretty cool.
Has anyone played SR The Third? It looks pretty cool but downloading at 1.4MBps is slow as hell... stop it steam sale people stealing my bandwidth :C
It's still a lot of money on what effectively are just time wasters.
Consoles are more IRL social too.
It's cheaper in the long run tbh, what with all these amazing sales.
oh and;

I've always wanted to go to one of the stupidly massive LANs and just play games for 3 days straight without sleep

At the MIT summer camp I was in we did that sort of, with TF2. We'd do people on Java vs C++. Of course, C++ always dominated those plebeians. I liked it because every time I got to kill someone (xXBest player thereXx) I got to hear them yelling "DAMMIT CHAPLIN" Nobody n the Java class even learned my name, they all just knew me as Chaplin because Steam.
And that's why C++ is better, and why we gamed those scrubs.
I remember once we had a bring-your-own-computer lan at work.
I decided to bring my computer. All in all, about 18 people were there.
We did do 9v9 Highlander on Team Fortress. I've earned rep as the best soldier in town.
Other than that, it was pretty fun. Quake III is really fun as well.

aka a single game of sins of a solar empire :v:
The only other closest thing to a large event was a 12 man game of Civ 5, on Marathon. That was a week or so ago actually.
I lost, but only because the last person had one more uranium than me.
Or a game of Civilization 5!

More likely nuke victory.
No
Victory was Conquest or Diplomacy only
Marathon as in it took a bajillion turns to do anything
He used his last one extra uranium to nuke me

I go to reply to you on steam and you go offline right as I start typing :v:
I'm thinking of asking my brother for one of two games tomorrow;
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:Shadow of Chernobyl ($13.39)
Saints Row: The Third ($33.49)
I can chip in $30 for one, but I don't know which to ask for.
Which do you guys recommend?
-
I don't have the means to buy things on steam, which is why I need my brother to act as a middle man.
-
Agree on somein :<
